Crazy Question - Is this part of my GG?

I have two GGTS models, aluminum and nickel. I have an AVS and a UFS.

...I also have this weird little metal piece which I found on the workspace where I was cleaning each of them. Everything is working fine, but I'm still left wondering what this is. It looks like the center post for my AVS, but that's still there. And it's magnetic. My magnetic button conversion still works, too (and it doesn't look like those magnets).

Good guess, but no. It turns out my wife was making jewelry and it's a clasp. Now I am a confirmed idiot.

When I got my first one I didn't realize I was missing some O-rings until I had it completely apart and looked at the diagram!!! AMazingly enough, the draw improved right away!!!


Hwo cool is it that we can disassemble (and reassemble -- keep it all straight!) the GGs?!?!?!?
