This forum runs vB and there are some great hacks that are out there for it. A few in particular allow you to create custom new post searches.
Lets face it this forum is way to big and too active to use the default new posts, I find myself just coming in and checking the my post search and do 1 or 2 pages of new posts and give up.
What I would be looking for is the hack that allows users to select forums to include in a new post search. Otherwise, if you could just give me a list of all the forum names to forumIDs, I can create my own custom new post search link. Another alternative is to install the exclude forums hack. Then I can exclude forums that I never want to see. At least those would be removed from the new post search.

Edit: Title was supposed to be 'customized' instead of 'customs' (darn swype).
The reason I am asking for this is I missed this thread that contained extremely important and potentially dangerous information because I have been not wanting to wade though, the overly long and filled with stuff I am not interested in, default new post search. If someone in the Darwin thread hadn't pointed it out to me, the result could've been very bad
