First of all I posted this thread originally in General E-Smoking Discussion, so it should be deleted there. I apologize.

Anyway, here's my idea. As 23 year old vaper, I would love a group for people around my age. (Generation Y.) I think we face different social stigmas and have different experiences than other generations. For example, so many of my friends still see smoking as cool, and using an e-cig as a cop-out. I would like to be able to discuss issues that affect millenials, such as laws and events that may change our world, the stress of student loans and internet memes. You know, the usual.

Hey there StupidGroupie (feel bad calling you that!),

When we originally created the social forums, we used a plugin which allowed members to set them up automatically once they'd created a group which had attracted 5 members.

However, this plugin no longer worked when we upgraded the forum software, and the original author stopped supporting it.

It is a great thing to have on the site, and because of this, we've got our new coders working on updating it. I'm afraid I can't give you a timeline, except to say that it's happening!

In the meantime, I you can still create a social group, as opposed to a forum, so that mightn't be a bad idea as a temporary measure. This is the place to start: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/groups/

All joking aside -- Good for you for taking the initiative.

I don't mean this condescendingly -- in time you'll find that the social stigmas and issues might be different on the surface but are timeless in substance.

Best to you and Happy Thanksgiving.
