So I made an order for creme brulee and frenilla (60 ml each) and was very excited as I have not had nicoticket in a very long time. I was especially excited to try creme brulee as I loved CLS last time I ordered it. I went to work today and my friend surprised me with a 15 ml bottle of creme brulee that he ordered for me for introducing him to vaping, nicoticket and giving him his first setup. I was even more excited to see it was mixed in November so it was well steeped. So I tried it and I was surprised to get mainly a sour tasted with little vanilla. He was puffing away saying it was glorious and I didn't want to hurt his feelings by saying anything. The setup is an aspire nautilus BVC on an IPV2 at 12.5 watts. I had a similar experience with Grants Vanilla Custard where everyone raved about it and all I tasted was sour. CLS, I loved, the virus was awesome and wakonda was outta this world, but those were in a kayfun before I got the nautilus. So am I crazy? Anyone else experience this? I'm guessing not. I'm getting my order in on Monday and I'm afraid to crack open the bottle if this is what its going to taste like. I'll shoot them a message but was wondering if I'm alone here on this.

I had a similar issue, although mine wasn't sour. Just strong, almost alcohol-y smelling and it burned my throat. I think the forum members here came to the conclusion that I was just sensitive to the in house vanilla. Let it sit with the cap off for a day or so, and then steep it for a week or two. I found that the smell becomes much less overpowering after a few hours with the cap off. I'm waiting for mine to steep a bit (my batch was produced at the end of October), but I'm optimistic that it will be excellent when I do break into it. It's smelling better and better every day!

I tend to find that my Nautilus BVC mutes creamy dessert flavors when compared to my Kayfuns, Lemo, and RDAs. Maybe it's the synthetic wicking material used in BVC coils vs. cotton. Perhaps this is why the new Kanger, Joyetech, and Eleaf tanks use cotton in their pre-built coils. My four Nautilus minis now sit packed away in a drawer with my old Protanks and CE4s.

My wife just tried it and she said gross too. I'll wrap a coil for the kayfun with some some Japanese cotton and see. The CLS was with a kayfun with cotton.

Yeah definitely tastes good in a kayfun with koh Gen doh, weird

You are going to find a large difference in flavor between the two attie's you are using.

It might help us to drill down to the issue if you can give some more information on the specifics of the builds you are using in both atomizers. Ohms, wraps, watts, etc...

But you like Strawnilla, right? It has the same in house vanilla.

I think it has less than CLS and Frenilla. CLS is starting to sell good, but Frenilla still smells really strong to me.

You may be right, but I was with the understanding that Strawnilla was a marriage of Frenilla and Strawberry Symphony. Could be wrong though.
