Another product in the Crescendo range from Liquidhall, bringing the flavour of ripe, juicy strawberries, complemented by plenty of ice and a significant amount of sugar. It's especially for those who like natural fruit flavours and are looking for a cool, frosty experience when vaping.
From the very first inhale, the strong intensity of the aroma is clearly noticeable, gradually building up and becoming more pronounced as the vapour progresses . The sweet strawberry flavour dominates, is distinctly intense and offers a rich, jammy experience. This flavour, reminiscent of ripe strawberries, is extremely deep and saturated, but can be a little too sweet, rivaling the character of a sugared strawberry jam.
The cooling effect creates an almost icy sensation that tries to balance the sweetness. The refreshing coolness is strong but not so dominant as to completely overpower the sweetness of the strawberries. Nevertheless, the amount of sweetness still remains prominent and is a major factor in the overall flavour impact.
The significant amount of sweetness lingers on the palate for a long time after steaming and is strongly felt, which for me created a slightly overpowering effect. I tested the aroma with an RDA tank, which brought out the character even more. I would imagine that using a higher resistance MTL or pod tank would make this experience somewhat more subdued, but in my opinion the dominance of sweetness remains noticeable with these systems. Nevertheless, the aroma is very pleasant, and the naturalness and freshness of the fruit can be felt as soon as the bottle is opened. Not only is this fresh aroma immediately appealing, but it is also present throughout the steaming process, which further enhances the experience of using the product.
Summary: Who would I recommend it to? Primarily for those who like intense sweet flavours reminiscent of jam and would like to try a flavour that also has a strong 'deep-freezing' effect. If the level of sweetening were more restrained, it would perhaps provide a truly outstanding iced strawberry experience. However, the current level of sweetness is a little too much for my taste.
