Back story for those who have not been reading my other threads...

I'm in the process of upgrading from my existing pair of eGo batteries and misc EVOD atomizers...

Goal - MOAR Vapor...

Secondary Goal - Get my wife setup with eGo pretty stuff and off her old school (4-5 year old) Joye 501 that she's not really using anymore (variety of eGo batteries and tanks for her to play with)

To that end...

1 - I am ordering a variety of VG/PG 80/20 and 70/30 from various vendors and a few local that are 100% VG to test...thankfully I found a pretty good place in Spring Vape (North Houston)

2 - Ordering the following setup from Various Vendors (here is where the critique comes in)

Vamo ViVi (Aesthetically I prefer it over the V3 - Don't think there's much difference otherwise)
$50.00 Vamo-Vivi Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Two extra set of batteries (Sony chosen because I heard they implode rather than explode? Verify?)
$10.50 Sony US18650V3 18650 3.7V 2150mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery (2-Pack) 2-pack - 10A discharge / with carrying case at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Kanger Protank
$16.11 Kanger Protank Clearomizer with Pyrex Glass Tank (2.5mL) - authentic Kangertech product / silver / 2.5

X9 Protank
$6.92 X9 Protank Clearomizer with ABS Tank (2.5mL) - silver / 2.5

Air Flow Controller
Ecig Tank Airflow Controller

A Dripper to play with
$6.10 V5 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Detachable Dripping Atomizer - 1.0

For office and around town (read portable) vaping 2x
$14.64 X6 1300mAh Variable Voltage Rechargeable Battery for Electronic Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

And a few other accessories such as bottles and extra eGo chargers

Thoughts?

Can't say I've used the Sony Cells, but if it says 10A continuous(?) discharge, should be good. Never used the x6 mod too on the bottom, might want to ask them if battery is included. Looks like a 14500 mod to me. Also, might want to get silica wick + kanthal wire for the dripper. 2-3mm Silica wick and 30-32awg kanthal should be good.

It's a great kit you've put together!

ETA: That Vamo kit looks like it comes with Panasonic batteries. Those are good.

that X6 looks awesome and its soo cheap! good find sir i was half tempted to buy one right when i seen the price i had to convince myself i had no use for it haha!

1 thing i saw that could be a potential problem is your 100% VG juices you ordered those will be VERY thick and could clog up your tanks or not flow through the wicks fast enough and give you dry hits. IF you experience this then thin the juices out using 85/15 J/DW (j= juice/DW= distilled water) to thin it out a little and help with the functionality of your delivery systems

Thank y'all...

Yeah for $6 if the x6 tank works out well I can see myself getting a few...just cause...

On the Sony Batteries, I could swear I read somewhere that if they fail they crumple, making it easy to see they are no longer good...just a thought on safety, either way I think Sony and Panasonic will make good batteries...

Good to know on the 100% VG...I didn't realize it was that thick. I'm assuming if you use a wickless system it will burn better, like with EVOD atomizers?

I'll add wick and wire to the list...I think I can get them there...it's more of something to play with than something to rely on. I understand the flavor is intense with a drip system...

Thank y'all much...

Your order is almost exactly the order I would choose for the same purpose....... except.... I do like the Vamo, but the SVD is one incredibly heavy duty mod for just a very few bucks more ( 37 bucks ? ). Its my favorite at at the moment, but it is heavy. Also, due to the weight, I haven't tipped it over yet and I always sit my mods on their ends on a table.

Good choices sir !!

the EVOD does use wicks they are small and at the bottom but they are there. id see how it works for you before watering it down because if u do get the 100% vg to work that will be some serious clouds haha my guess is you will have to water it down a little tho. be sure to use distilled and not tap water :D

I would definitely recommend IMR batteries. Much safer battery chemistry. Other than that it looks good, and you are getting batts with the Vamo kit, btw, as a previous member mentioned. I believe the X6 has an internal battery and I'm not sure if the ego recharger will work on it. Hope so. Can't really tell from the kit. Other than that, I think it looks pretty good. Also, consider IMR 18350 batts for your Vamo, that way you can have a low profile APV. My:2c: Best of luck and Vape On!

Looks like a decent order to me.
Couple of things to look out for though:
The Nimbus clone you got, check again, fastech just released a Gen2 version (with more airflow options and its cheaper!)
The difference between the Vamo V2 and V3 is the screen (functions the same but LED screen on V2-numbers only; or OLED on V3-text and numbers).
I was going to get the vamo, but i think i'm holding out for the Sigelei ZMAX telescope:)
Also, I've been hearing alot of chatter about the Kanger Protank being too airy, and i've been hearing of people using EVOD heads instead to fix that issue ;)
