If you have a warranty of some kind. The best solution is to use that and send it in for (hopefully) one with a straight connection.

I own three and all my connections are straight. But I did notice on my first one...I put a tank on and I was able to accidentally make the connection crooked. I lightly pushed the tank and was able to adjust the connection back up straight. You could try this but do so at your own risk. Just put on an atty, tank, or whatever and try to lightly push it straight.

Again...It's at your own risk. Don't do it if you're not comfortable. I wouldn't want you to break it.

Yea I had it replaced like 3 times, each unit was crooked so I gave up. I'm wanting to get another one because I miss the click button (although they have a new version coming out (version 2) but I'm not terribly fond of the design of it but who knows. I'm not sure why the connectors can't be seated straight, just because it's made in China means they don't know how to put something in straight? I don't get it...

Sad Society, my ver 1.5 LT has had a slightly crooked 510 connection since I got it about a month ago. I just tried to push it straight like you said and it worked :toast: . Nice one! Now, that said, it moved over with VERY little force and I find the connector kinda 'floats' - very easy to make it 'un-straight'. I think it's just spring loaded in place in a slightly oversized hole, as opposed to screwed or glued in. Doesn't bother me either way - it works and that's all that counts for me.

Cool Mike. Glad I helped someone out.
