CROSSROADS VAPOR

MY EXPERIENCE & OPINION YMMV

After the first review....EVERYTHING went downhill. One after another I was writing the same review so I just decided to do one and lump them all together.

Cookies and cream, butter pecan, chocolate snickerdoodle, maple nut crunch, vanilla nut, mocha cappuccino were all disappointing and subpar.

They were either underflavored, undersweet or both, the flavors need work. I would give most an ok rating because they are vapable in a pinch. They are not completely horrible but they are not good either.

Banana hazelnut is interesting and probably my favorite but lacks sweetness and needs more flavor.

I will not be reordering. I hate having to say that stuff but I have to be honest. It's your hard earned money and I don't want you to be disappointed when there's plenty other better choices out there
:(

Just my opinion

Hey ogerdog :)

Apologies that the samples didn't work out for ya. I really appreciate the honest review, it helps me improve my juice. I have to admit, the 3ml bottles don't do the flavors justice, in strength or taste. I'll be happy to send you a free 30ml, with a better impression, since you can cram more flavor in that size bottle. I'm also in the process of changing over my nic base, to either nicvapes or rts vapes, to get a really top notch American made base.

Once this happens, I can say without a doubt, these will be 110% American made all natural, all kosher juice. I have finally tracked down a really good sweetner, that is and taste natural, which should add a tad more throat hit, and sweetness. Its not bad at all vaped straight :)

Crossroads and our budget is still very small, and a work in progress. I just want to offer something different, that's not the same 5 flavor suppliers, that alot of people use. I'm definitely trying to improve things, as my meager budget allows. I welcome any reviews and feedback, from anyone, as this helps me improve my juice. When I get some new base and sweetner in bulk amounts stocked up, I'll send ya some samples, and would be honored, to hear what ya think. Take care man, have a great weekend :)

Matthew I'm glad to hear from you. I appreciate you responding and your devotion to customer service. You seem like a good guy.

You can't please everyone as you know. Many of your flavors are good but lacking as offered imo. I think many people would love your juice as is. Im not trying to trash you at all but merely reporting from a consumer perspective. Its only my opinion.

Many people love subtle vapes. Many people don't like their vapes very sweet and that allows them to vape them all day. I just want true to name flavor.

I think the problem with vendors really lies in the descriptions. It would be nice if at the top of the flavor pages it said"all these flavors are tested on such and such device at such and such voltage" then under the descriptions add something like: it is very flavorful or subtle (despite an option to add extra flavor or not)-cuz if you havent had it how would you know to add more or less....I realize there are still problems with this, but people would have a closer idea than just: this is a delicious juicy strawberry you will love lol-and that's not towards you that's just a general statement

When I order bakery/candy flavors my mind says a snickers should have relatively the same flavor strength and sweetness as the candy bar, regardless if I want to vape it all day or not. Let me be more specific to some of your juices. These are only my opinions.

Maple nut crunch- if you are going for a adult cereal type flavor or granola bar I would say you nailed it. As a dessert the flavor is good but too subtle and not sweet enough to be satisfying.

Butter pecan-I read a review from someone who loves it. I say the flavor IS good also. As a kid I use to get a triple scoop from thriftys and butter pecan was always one of the scoops. I think ice cream- I think sweet I think bolder flavor not hint of...

Cookies and cream and snickerdoodle were the same etc. etc.

As far as the small budget, I wasn't making fun of the site those were my actual thoughts. I felt weird about the payment process. Everything was fine though as I said in the butterscotch toffee review. Also I mentioned the samples were a real good price and you should be applauded for that, but I wouldn't order a 30ml bottle of any of the flavors.

If I was a brand new vaper I probably would be happy with the samples I tried especially when compared with say Dekang, like I started.

All of that sucks to say and makes me feel like a di...jerk. I hate to hurt anybody, especially someones business that I know they worked hard on. You must like them, I'm just one guy.. but at least I'm honest lol

I would be honored to try them. I really like the variety you offer and are not sticking with only traditional flavors. That choc snickerdoodle and banana hazelnut would be bomb man if it was tweaked some.

I didn't realize you didn't make them in batches but made them individually for samples. That's got to be a huge pain in the a.. Thanks for doing all that!

Haha no worries man, I appreciate the tips. You are correct in all your statements, I wish I had the funds to really do it right. I wasn't planning on ever being a juice vendor, I'm just an oldschool vaper, that started back when you had to rub two 510 batteries together, and hope the dekang juice you got in the mail, was remotely in the same ballpark as the last bottle.

I got into DIY to save money, and was sad to try so many flavors that weren't too good. I stumbled on some flavors that aren't used by any other vendor out there. I thought it would be nice to mix up some stuff, that was unique and different.

I've been through roughly over 5,000 dollars of flavors, in my almost 4 years of vaping, some great, some not so great. I'm still on the search for a good tobacco lol. I've been through all the Chinese stuff, seedmans, flave west, etc etc. I've probably wasted a liter of tobacco absolute lol.

I agree with the flavor needing more punch, I tried super heavy flavor, and was too much, tasted like burnt cardboard lol. So I settled on the amount it is now. I will try some tweaking this weekend, see how much I can cram in a bottle. Right now it's around 7% I'll see if i can get it around 15% or so see what happens.

I'm going to purchase some small test bottles of nic tomorrow, see if the base isn't stepping on the flavor. I really believe in these flavors, I just need good feedback, to make em pop. I didn't want to get run of the mill flavors, that anybody can get, and DIY for way cheaper.

I agree with ya 100% on all your points, that's why I need the good feedback, from you guys. I'm always open to any suggestions anyone has, that's what I love about the ecf. No worries at all :) you didn't come off, as rude or anything. What you said other people didn't, and it's stuff I needed to know and hear. If you get some good flavor or nic base tips, let a brotha know :)

Well, see, now I want to try those flavors (provided they are stronger - I really can't taste stuff that's on the weaker side). Especially Maple Nut Crunch. I *love* adult-type granola. Bet that would be fantastic - just call it "Granola" so folks know what they are getting. :)

Cheers and luck - and, please, keep us updated as you tweak, you definitely got my curiosity up!

Oh, no, don't bother on my account. I prefer adult vapes, true, but that's taking it a bit far. I'll take a pass. Thanks for giving me a heads-up.

A word of unsolicited advice: I'm a fair-minded person, and I choose and review vendors based on their work and nothing else. But you might consider that the above joke is not pleasant, or overly funny, for a 50 year old lady to read. It could actually hurt someone's feelings. Now, I'm not ashamed of my age, I don't consider youth a virtue necessarily, not even in the looks department, and never did, and I am in fact proud of my gray hair - I earned it. But the above left a bad taste in my mouth, as if just being above a certain age is supposed to be ridiculous somehow - and I'm not even sensitive about it.

Ogredog's post was funny, while yours was iffy. And he is not a vendor who is still young in his business. Just food for thought - no offense. For all I know you are my age. :)

Hi briar :)

I honestly meant no disrespect at all, humor is not my strong suit at 3 in the morning. I'm not all that young, and it was more a crack at myself. In all honesty, geritol would be an improvement to my diet. And you young lady are not that old at all :) I really got ribbed when my girlfriends daughter was wearing one of my t shirts to sleep in, and I mentioned that the shirt was twice as old as she was. It was an Eric Clapton concert shirt, from his journey man tour lol. I truly apologize, and never meant to come off that way.

Wow those are some crazy flavors to try, tomato soup would be pretty good, if i had another ecig loaded with grilled cheese lol. I think I will go work on a foot in mouth juice, while the flavor is still fresh.

No prob - it's all good on this end.

Just be aware that there are lots of us people with mammary glands out there - and gray hair. And I *still* like granola! I look forward to checking out your juice.
