My crown tank has a weird metallic taste. Anyone know why?

Is tank brand new? Wondering if it's machine oil....... in which case a good bath would help. I've used denture cleaner of all things lately, and it's gotten rid of ghost flavors from thing like anise juice--- very hard to get rid of. I let it soak overnight.

just FYI. do it with every new tank or RDA you get. lots of times there is a bit of machine oil left in teh nooks and crannies.
