I think there would have been a greater chance of being bitten had I run. I stayed vewy, vewy still once I heard the rattles and saw it uncoil to put it's head up. It was a little freaky seeing it so close and it could easily have bitten me but seriously, what a rush. Once it was going the other way. lol That would have made a fabulous picture though.

#3: I know what you mean skydragon, that happened to me twice so far. Once I fell of my bike by hitting a rock and when I looked up a snake was looking me in the face. The look in the snakes face was "What is your problem?"
Yeah that would have made a fantastic picture alright! Luckily you didnt get bit
