Cubis Tank - how does the coil get power?

Hey - curious on how the Cubis tank works. If the coil sits in the liquid and doesn't screw on the bottom, how does it get powered? Are there wires running up the tank into the lid where it gets screwed on?

Just me - or did anyone else wonder this as well?

Pin of the coil contacts a "plate/pin" that is in the bottom of the cup. Screwing the top on makes the contact.

The positive connection comes up through the bottom of the tank and the bottom of the coil contacts the positive connection when it's installed.

The ground path is completed through the coil body, up through the stem and cap, to the metal section of tank, back to the 510.

It's either that, or some sort of Chinese magic.

Interesting. I'm going to look tonight to see if I can see if contact is made to the bottom. Surprised that wouldn't generate heat within the tank though.
