Curious 901 issue

I ordered some DSE mini 901 atomizers from Esmoke club.com.
They were a bit cheaper than the ones I was buying from Totally Wicked (and I had some a couple of issues with them as well), so I gave them a shot. I bought a 5 pack, and when I got them 4 did not work at all, but the first one was AWESOME... for two days

I sent them back (naturally) and got replacements. Now these replacements have an entirely different taste than any other attys I've used. They do vape, but the vapor leaves a terrible itch in the back of my throat, it feels like I'm inhaling fiberglass, and has a taste that isn't so much unpleasant, as it is just funky. I really don't think this is primer, as I know the difference. I've been dripping enough, making sure I'm not running it dry at all. It doesn't seem to take it away. My juice is the same juice I've been using for a while, and have had great vapes with. However, I've been back to smoking my regular cigarettes, as I'm ...... off and broke.

I have three questions for anyone that may know...
Does anyone have any idea what the hell this is??
Where, or what attys have you found to be consistent enough to invest in?
... and where might I buy refillable cartridge stuffing?

I loved vaping, but I'm not wasting my friggin money on all this crap anymore!!
Help a man with little patience remaining for vaping please!!

Honestly my first thought was primer, but you say you're pretty sure that's not the issue. I've not had this type of problem myself. Regardless, wanted to make sure you got bumped up for someone to answer who might have a clue.

Hi G, Can't address the side effects issue, but can tell you about my experience as a fellow 901 user. I ordered a pack of 5 901 atties from Value Vapor for $5 each. It was the best price I found anywhere in the states. I was sceptical that these cheaper atties would be as good as what I had bought for more. To my surprise they have worked well. They did have a primer or something that had to burn off initially. I learned to kill that bad taste with a couple of drops of clove juice, probably any strong flavor would work. I haven't yet tried to clean my atties, just been throwing them in a drawer till I have some time, but the $5 atties have given me a full week to 10 days each before they started giving me less vape. Hope that helps.
