Riva 901 issue

Hello I'm new to the forum, but have been vaping for about a month.

My first E-cig was a Joye 510, but I tried a friend's Riva 901, and was convinced that I wanted one.

I'm having an issue with the carts not fitting snug at all, and it seems that the fill is not contacting the atomizer bridge. It doesn't seem like the Atty is wicking at all. Since I'm having issues with the carts I began dripping, but I do want to be able to use carts because they're convenient while driving.

I never had this issue with my 510, and am worried I may have got the wrong carts with my kit.
They look exactly like the 510 carts.

I also tried a whistle tip 901 cart, but that fits even more loosely than the carts that came with my Riva 901.

Anyone else have this issue, and is there any way of fixing it? I've got 10 carts that are virtually useless. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Hi ihart. Welcome to ECF.

There are two types of Riva, the 510 Riva and the 901 Riva. The Riva 901 threads should be compatible with 901 attys and 901/kr808d-1 cartomizers, not 510 atties and cartomisers. I don't know whether 510 and 901 carts are the same diameter and would fit both types of atty. Have you contacted your supplier to ask about the problem?
