Greetings Halons! So I just opened my new bottle of Sub-Zero (as I've done many times over the last year) and I swear, it is much clearer and a little thinner than any past bottle I've had. This isn't a complaint, just a curious observation. All of the other Sub-Zero I've had was distinctly pink; this bottle is more, well, clear with a pink tint. I usually get 24 mg, and this time I got 18, but that's got to be unrelated.

Has anyone else noticed this with other flavors? I haven't tried to vape it yet, but it smells just as awesome as it always has. *shrug*

The color does get a bit lighter as the nicotine lowers. The "thinness" may just be due to it being a less steeped batch. But all in all, sounds about right for going down in nicotine. I checked with the lab and they have no reported issues with any of the batches. Let me know if there are any issues with it when you use it!

Aaaaand again, great customer service. Thanks for the reply, Cinder. :)

That's interesting that there's actually a correlation between the drop in nicotine and the color. I assumed I was crazy for even mentioning the change in nicotine, but that's good to know. Thanks for asking about this, I appreciate it. I'll be sure to try a fresh Triton tank of it when I get home from work today. I'm sure it'll be fine though, I've gone through over a dozen bottles of 24mg Sub-Zero and they've all been awesome.

let us all know Machinestatic... so we can add to our knowledge base. Aint no Halo Wiki to run too, so here and our own stored knowledge pool is as good as it gets.

I'm back to report good news. The juice is indeed lighter in color and thinner than all of my previous bottles, but I've cranked through a whole Triton tank of it and it's perfect. I haven't noticed any difference at all in flavor or vapor, it's still my #1 favorite juice.

I got a little bottle of Sub-Zero (12mg) a few weeks ago and it was more red than pink, and much thicker than usual. I have not got around to trying it yet but I will soon because the current bottle has a tank or so left.

Maybe it didn't get stirred up enough and started to seperate.

So how did your bottle of SubZero vape, Penguins?

My bottle that I originally posted about is already almost empty, and a new bottle is scheduled for delivery today.

CAN'T STOP VAPING SUBZERO

Different nicotine levels will result in a color change, with Halo juices.

I used to vape Tribeca, and I've ordered 12mg/mL, 6 and 0. The latter is almost completely clear, while the former has a distinctive yellow tint to it that's visible, even through the cobalt blue glass bottle.

I don't know if the nicotine component is colored intentionally, or is simply a result of how it's processed. Since I developed a PG sensitivity, I've had to switch to another vendor, which recently switched formula that resulted in most their juices being colorless (the logic being that any non-flavor additives may contribute to gunking, and that no one wants to vape a coloring agent, even if it's harmless). Some of their juices do vape more cleanly, but the difference is very subtle.

I have a 30ml bottle due for delivery tomorrow, I always order when the current bottle is half empty. Life without SubZero is unimaginable ... :D

i like the red color, it distinguishes it from other less tasty juices in my stash ...

I like Sub-Zero and the only thing that could make it better would be if it was the color blue like the icy coolness it is. ;)

Oh, wow, I never even considered that. I love it. If SubZero were blue it would definitely jump from being my favorite juice to... umm, my really favorite juice.

Interesting...

I just mentioned, earlier in this thread, how another juice maker that I use, had opted to remove all colorings, because some people don't care to vape unnecessary additives.

Just sayin'.

That is a good thought to only have what is necessary in the juice, I didn't realize vendors put colorings in their juices. I just always assumed that the juice color was natural to the additives used in the juice. :)

Halo has been my ADV since I quit 6 months ago . Just got 2 bottles yesterday first thing I noticed was labeling was different on the back . Cracked 1 open today and it was crystal clear to my surprise . I put it into a Iclear30 and that strong menthol I love is still there but I notice a mint note at the end that I never noticed before and I'm not so sure if I like it or not ??? I'll crack the second one open when I get home to see if it's as clear as the first one . Never had to steep any of my sub zeros before , could it be that ?

Update: Forget I posted this up , well second was the normal reddish pink and flavor im used to . Vaping the other bottle and flavor is just off compared to the other original recipe bottle , way more minty . I let it steep in a closet for almost 2 weeks giving a good shake every other day and it's still crystal white . Anyone been getting clear ejuice of sub zero lately or was this just a one time quality control issue ???
