Say, if you got a hold of one of those bottles/containers of Coke syrup or whatever kind of soda flavoring ..

Would it be possible to use that with a PG/VG base? I just thought it'd be a neat idea.

I think the same thing could be asked with natural extracts, like Vanilla and stuff. I'm sure people use that, so ..

Discuss!

What syrup do you mean? Commercial use syrups for a post-mix seltzer system (like the kind of machine they have in fast food places) is highly concentrated and sweetened, ready to have carbonated water added (at a 20:1 ratio, IIRC as an ex-Pepsico tech) - not sure I would really want to try and vape that!
In any case, LorAnn's version is only about $1.50 for 3.7mL.

definately an atty killer...seriously. With the amount of concentrated sugar and corn syrup in there, as well as all the artificial colorings, I would give your atty about 3 days before it clogs for a light vaper. I would definately do the "paper towel test" on the agenda if you try it. In case you haven't seen this done, exhale vapor through a paper towel. There should be just a wet spot (huh huh) on the paper towel, with a possible mild yellow tinge if done repeatedly. Any other color and I would avoid using it again. This is by no means an authoritative way to test the safety of a juice, but it will give you some idea of what you are vaping in.

I was just thinking that a diet wouldn't have sugars. Diluting it with enough distilled water will reduce the syrupy-ness... This would allow you to cut it (it's designed to be diluted), and get a solution that is not carbonated...

I'm not willing to shell out the money for the experiment though... And like I said, dunno what I'd do with GALLONS of diet soda flavoring... If I could get a small sample of dt. Mt. Dew syrup I might play with it...

I'd donate an atty to the cause... and I know the syrup is ridiculous, and would have to be seriously diluted (like to 20x its original volume). I'm thinking of making something the consistency of actual soda, just making it with distilled, non-carbonated water... perhaps 2x the strength of the soda it produces, then diluting that in an unflavored liquid. A diet isn't really sticky... But then you're stuck with diet tasting vape...
