Custom box mod - 250+ watts of fun!

I just recently got in to the "mod" stage of vaping. I had heard about and seen a lot of box mods and I wanted to build one just for the fun of it. The only purchased part was a 510 connector, every other part was already on hand in my basement. The controller is a simple mirocontroller setup with a potentiometer input to set power output. The transistorized PWM output drives a 31A mosfet. There is no battery connections as I wanted to use a large 50A 0-15vdc power supply I had collecting dust. Of course this means it isn't very portable, but it was fun to play with! We ended up burning up the switch after messing with it for an hour or so. I never meant for it to go above 5vdc but we got a bit carried away and before we knew it we were almost to 15vdc!

Here is a video of it in action:

Yup, there are no power limitations when you plug into the wall!

Would like to know more details. What atty were you using, what was the build and what juice mix were you using. I imagine it was zero nic? What was the vape like?

Several people played around with it. I was using a brand new out of the box Trident dripper. I believe it is a dual coil 1.2 ohm total load. It was fairly tame. From memory Chuck was using a 0.12 ohm build - that is when power output became impressive!

In the video we were dripping either 0 or 3 mg Sweet Tooth Loopy.
