Custom Colors... Do they cost a lot more?

I've never done anything like ordering a custom color before, and am not sure its in my budget now. All the colors are so pretty, but I'm fantasizing about a matte Tiffany blue or Vintage Thunderbird blue GLV2, w silver caps. Anyone done anything like ordering custom color? I've seen people mention that they're gonna send GLV their powder, but not sure how something like that works, or how much it would cost. Any suggestions or experiences? Thanks so much! This will be my first mod... upgrade from my Ego. Excited, but really want to get it right, if that makes sense. I'm not likely to be upgrading frequently or buying a ton of mods, so chances are i'll be stuck with this thing for a while

Ok, so i've figured out from other threads that basically you just have to send Jay a half pound of the powder you want on your GLV. My only question now is are all the categories of colors on Powder by the Pound suitable? A few of the ones i'm interested in are in the RAL category, and I don't think any of the standard GLV color options are in that category. If anyone knows the answer to that one offhand I'd be thrilled. Basically trying to avoid hassling Jay and Sara till I know exactly what i want. New baby new shoppe... sounds like busy all the way around.

well, i would give him a call. he really doesn't mind, and he can tell you if it will scratch easy and need a clear coat. etc.

atm the colors posted are quite a few more than what was available last month...he and sara also mentioned that more colors are to come, best to email or call to find out what is or may be available soon... can't hurt to ask right after my call to them last month inquiring the same, I found out that they were carrying the color I asked about, now it's available as one of the color options
