Custom iTaste 18500

Hey everyone. New here and I'm excited to show off my custom mod. I had a broken iTaste VV laying around. Taking it apart I was happy to see that it didn't use a protected battery and has a built in protection circuit which allowed this to happen.

I'm most proud of the cutout around the button and the custom-made battery holder!

All it needs now is a conical beauty ring for the ego threads.

Were you able to retain the passthru functionality?

Unfortunately no :/

The micro USB port broke during disassembly. That being said, it would be safe to use the passthrough to charge considering the mah of the 18500 batteries is higher than the 14500 that came in there, just might take a little longer.

Maybe I'll get a micro USB to micro USB extension cord and make a port for it on the bottom of the tin.
