I paid to have the following mod made from Scott's Mods. I'll receive it this week.

Very nice. Just checked out somenof their catalog.
Very clean.
Just curious, how much back and forth did you do before you pulled the trigger on having them make yours? I've seen quite a few sites related to theirs and seems to be popping up more and more, but this is definitely one of the nicer ones I have seen.
I've considered having a custom mod built quite a few times, but get indecisive when im at the drawing board.
Kind of like a tattoo. It's gotta be just right.
Id like to find someone that'll construct the actual case in different, shapes, material etc.

Scott answered all of my questions within a day. I would not bombard him with ridiculous requests but if you're going to order one take a look at his site and see what he has, write down the specs, and then check with him to see if he could put you on the list.

I saw a pic of a similar mod on his website, contacted Scott, and said let's do it. I ordered "Vet, with an internal LCD Voltmeter, Dual 26650/18650, Dual Mosfet, Updated 3d Printed Sleds (unloaded - no batteries), in Purple AF."

I like the idea of having a mod that can use both size batteries.

We discussed the power button, b/c at first I was unsure of the smaller button button he was suggesting. But reassured me that the Mitech MSW-1202 would not hold up as long, "'Hard button pressers' can cause one of these to develop dead spots later on."

Within another month or so, I'll be ordering another Scott's Mods as long as the first performs OK. I might even order it with the larger Mitech MSW-1202 button. I just figure that in 2016, they are popular and would like to have one.

Nah, youre totally right. I would request accordingly with what the place either was used to, or comfortable with.
-Actually, after looking at that site a little more. The one in the middle of the LP collection photo is almost exactly what I was thinking of. The file size was too large to put attach, but heres the link

A lot of places will use one box and its up to you to decide whatever you want that box to look like.
I was talking about being able to change that up a bit, but still keep it clean.
I like the fact that button on yours is small enough to not pose as much of a threat firing in the pocket, but I love the bigger, almost flush, stealthy style.
These guys are doing it right.

Really looking fwd to getting my hands on it and vaping! Right now I only have 18650 batteries. This will be the first mod that I have that accepts 26650s, so I have to pick some up

As far as the button goes, meh, it's interesting to get the facts from the builders. I want a device to last and last and last...to Armageddon, so I let him do his thing. Scott's the artist I figure, so I accommodated him for the first mod. Just for the heck of it, I'll make some changes so I can tell the difference btw the two mods ordered, but will order another Vet. For me, the versatility in batteries is neat.

Just to let you know, those pics are the actual mod. He hadn't put the magnets in yet and sent off the pics to me. Then he used it for a couple of days to make sure all was good to go.

Sounds like he's doing all he can to deliver a quality product :thumb:
