heard of these a while back, they are no doubt the most beautifull mods i've ever seen, the craftmanship alone is worth every single penny. The only issue that no one seems to have noticed though is that they're expensive af lol

Of which about eighty five cents is paid to the actual artist no doubt. I’ve been waiting for the artisanal aspects of modding to be noticed by the monetizers. Just fielded a post from someone claiming to be a famous graffiti artist looking to to get into mod “design” a la riptripper etc.. Fine art is an ugly ugly business. It’s not about making things, it’s about monetizing noteriety. It combines the worst aspects of professional sport, Hollywood, and Madison Avenue. This is the signal I think that modding is about to no longer be about making things that work well. *sigh*. Sometimes the world just sucks.
There’s over 20 artist co-ops just in my town. My sister lives in one. Does some good, but not a lot.
