Shipping is super high, most manufactures require a wire transfer, it can take weeks to a month to get your product (if you get it at all) and what happens if customs decides to sieze your shipment...I've lost thousands from siezed shipments due to mislabled e-cig product. Theres a reason vendors mark up the product...mostly due to the headache of getting it in and risking their money. Not to mention warranty issues.

I've had good experiences with Chinese vendors, it's just necessary to place larger orders to cover the shipping costs with EMS. It's got a bit of risk but the hardware prices are very low. Without much regulation or one dominant source in the States we can directly access many manufacturers for now. This is the Golden Age of vaping where we all get loads of choices!

Realistically, there are probably more vapers buying their supplies at malls and smoke shops than anywhere else. Most ECF members are a little more adventurous. Convenience wins for most people, and buying from China requires homework and planning. Not for everybody but great fun for some of us!

Very simple to do and most all of them are happy to have you as a customer, heck there's hundreds of vendors doing it and no reason why anyone at all cant do it. I've been ordering from China for a couple of years now and have built a good relationship with quite a few of these suppliers. I usually do an order for 4 of us and we all split it up 4 ways this cuts down the shipping cost and everyone is happy. The one thing you have to do is make sure you know EXACTLY what your ordering and make sure you tell them the exact specs your looking for and they understand you fully:) Most of them selling overseas in sales positions are educated, no English, enjoy speaking with you and do a pretty decent job at getting you what your looking for too, and once you've established a few orders under your belt your confidence Grows. It's like anything else when it comes to buying, educate yourself, ask the right questions, negotiate well, and you come out way ahead of the game.!

I also havent had one issue with customs or any of the suppliers, that doesnt mean I haven't gotten product that I havent liked but heck that even happens while ordering through USA vendors, and there getting there product from the same exact people, USPS however lost one of my pkg's and the supplier was even nice enough to send a 2nd and it was a $400 order

Health cabin is more of an actual online store than the type of vendor being refered to here. You can actually by direct from a lot of the manufacturers including Joye and Smoktech. I have made quite a few purchases through Alibaba and they all came out fine and saved me a lot of dough. Like was previously stated, do your homework. I strongly suggest looking at seller ratings before buying.

Maybe your just not following here.... This entire discussion has been about buying from the manufacturers and distributors direct. Healthcabin, is not a distributor or manufacturer, they are an end user vendor (a store with marked up prices and middle men). We are discussing buying the items at the same price healthcabin pays for the items they sell. Completely different...

And, still, the question we, Newbies, would like to know the answer to .. Who is a good "Manufacturer" Vendor to order directly from from overseas?

One (or two) Vendors who are not end user vendors with marked up prices and middle men like Health Cabin.

is Micorcig a good choice? tenOneInternational?

And, where can I look at seller ratings before buying?

Please post the name of such Vendors here to help all new vapers.

Thanks in advance :)

i've been snooping around on Alibaba but it is confusing to try and actually communicate with the company. I think I've read the best way is to contact the mfg's directly.

I haven't tried any direct orders yet, but seems like a pretty good way to go for cartos. Could anyone with Alibaba experience please outline the process for us noobs?

alibaba also operates (MODERATED) (those two words are censored if you remove the space) which is a little more consumer oriented. The lots tend to be smaller and the englese isn't quite as cryptic. Also they keep your money in escrow until you actually receive the product and release it.
