Thanks for the tip MickeyRat! How does escrow work in such a situation?

Neither Alibaba nor Ali express actually sell things. They put you in touch with Chinese vendors that do. The way the escrow works is you make the payment to alibaba, they inform the vendor that they have received your payment and the vendor ships. When you receive the item, you release the payment to the vendor. I can't say how the dispute resolution process would work in the event there is one.

One thing that is true about either site. They are loaded with knock offs. Some of those are decent quality but, if you see a Provari or a Rolex watch on there, you can be pretty sure it's not genuine.

Got my shipment of 10 "Visions clearomizers" (stardusts) from ali express. $28.73 for 10 and free shipping. Placed the order May 26, eventually the tracking info showed up. It looked like it sat in customs for a week before making it to my door. These are not authentic Vision brand -there are slight differences. The wick is my biggest complaint - they are sloppily wicked, some of them the wick is longer on one side than the other and it might be a different material. Some wick fibers were detached inside the tank so I washed one before trying it out. Also the way the mouthpiece seals is a bit different - the o-ring is above, not below the threads on the mouthpiece, and I'm not sure if the silicone sealing "gasket" is below the metal band. However, they vape just fine - can't really tell a difference and the mouthpieces from vision brand clearos are interchangable and work. I only bought 10 to see if this would actually work - it did. I can't say if I'd order again, yet, but will update if anyone's interested.

hi, please update and post a link please, thanks

sorry, just saw this now... the url for the site is blocked (like a curse word lol) from ECF, probably to protect the vendors here? but now that I've been using those visions for a bit, they're really not that good. the draw is too airy I think because of the way the mouthpiece seals and some of them are really poorly wicked. Like a huge chunky wick on one side and then barely anything on the other. They work, they're probably worth the $2.87 a piece, but I don't think a US vendor could sell them for more than $3 without having customers rage. So it's not really a deal. I'd just fork over another 2 bucks and buy the real thing from a reputable vendor next time.

Mods can remove this if I'm violating the TOS by posting it but I didn't see any rules about this:

The site is (MODERATED) and search for "clearomizer" there if you're interested

Chinabuy.com is one of them. I order from them quite frequently. It takes a while to get your stuff but it is well worth the wait. I also ordered from vendors on Alibaba and even though the shipping cost was high it made up for it on the price of the products and I got my order via DHL in 5 days. CE4 Stardust for about $1.6 each. If anyone is interested I am willing to start a Coop right here just PM me and we will see how many people are willing to join.

When it comes to juices, I'll stick with the US or EU manufactured brands. In addition, I've found a lot of the stuff coming out of China and vendors supplying Chinese products don't meet my durability needs. The Chinese do have some quality control issues and I'm concerned about the purity of the metals used in their atties and tanks. We should not forget, they've poisoned our pets and used toxic dyes and paints on our kids toys. If I'm going to inhale something, I want to know what's in it.
