I have been cutting my tobacco liquids with the Taboo flavoring from liquidxpress.
If you mix with a 1:1 ration with either PG or VG you will have 12mg juice. You will lose some flavor, but my experience is that I can cut by 50% and keep decent flavor on the better juices..........
i want to try this but i have 36 non-flavored juice that is vg based can i still cut it with vg and add flavors>
Yes you can, what strength are you trying to get down to?
i am using 18mg/ml but could go a little lower. I have ordered the bottles, the unflavored vg based liquid and have the lorann oils and the VG just need to know what to do with it all!
Have a good read in the DIY forum for various recipes that others are using, plus have a search for the hackomatic calculator... these should sort you out and help you make your liquid to your own liking. 
As much as I love the Taboo flavoring, I have decided not to purchase anymore. I do not think it's cost effective at all because you have to use so much of it to get any flavor. It's ok to cut with to add a bit of flavor here and there, but when mixing from scratch, forget it. It's too weak and watered down. Waste of money. I'm not ordering the Cool Rush anymore either because I'll just use a few of Jaxx's menthol drops.
If you want to get to 18mg and you are starting with 36mg. here is what you do.
Take 2ml of the unflavored juice. and miz with 2ml of the vg. You will now have 4ml of 18mg juice. You can then add the lorann's to your desired flavor level. i would recommend cutting a small amount and adding flavor to that until you are sure that you like the flavor and have the strength correct.
I use loranns butterscotch which is my favorite and I make it in 10ml batches..........
I use it to cut my 24mg Marlboro down to 12mg. 50/50 and it seems to work great for me.
Maybe it isn't as strong in the menthol???
For me the easiest way to figure out the nic strength because I don't have office installed is,
Start with the ml's of juice you are going to mix and multiply by the mg strength. Lets say you have 10ml of 36 mg juice so
10 x 36 = *360 if you add 5 ml of vg, add it to the ml of juice
+5 if you add two ml of Loranns flavors add it to the other ml
+2 simply add the ml together
=17 Now divide the total mg strength from above by all the ml's
*360 divded by 17 = 21.17 mg juice, call it 22 and now you know the strength you are vaping. This works no matter how big or small the amounts as long as they are used by ml.
