Cyclone RDA Top Feed

I ordered it today and am curious on what peoples thoughts on it are.

It looks awesome and has some pretty stellar reviews.

I will be using it as a drip atty on a Super T Precise Simplicity 14500

Best flavor/vapor of all drippers. Better than some gennies too. Easy to work in small space. Using 5/6 32gaK wrapped close with nextel xc-1/16(small size). I found F/V improved if the coil was "slanted" to positive post, creates better airflow....this could be in my head.

i have the clone, and its almost identical, it rips out the vapor so i would imagine the real one is pretty kicking..

I was thinking about 1mm silica with 4 wraps of 32 AWG.. I read somewhere that should give a pretty consistent 1.5ohms..

It comes with decent silica and wire, I don't know the size, but it's worth using.

I love the thing. Wrap up a micro coil and blow clouds! I'd suggest getting the Cyclops AFC for it as well. Mine is on the way and adds fully adjustable air holes on one or both sides for single or dual coils.

Only suggestion I'd make is to go to the hardware store and get a couple tiny phillips head screws to replace the hex screws.

kidneypuncher has some screws that work for my nimbus igos and such they're pretty universal and SS philips if im not mistaken. but as for the cyclone it is amazing and very appealing to the eye but for performance and design id take a nimbus over a cyclone. personal preference though like i said the cyclone is really nice and is a great rda but i like the nimbus

Thanks VMxfanboy. I have a cyclone OTW so I'll be checking out those screws. The Nimbus sounds great, but I need a BF that fits on my Reo. I'm using a RM2 now & it's a real steam engine too.

as far as bottom feeders go RM2 is the best imo. But OKCvapes has the fatty v2 that you can get in a bottom feeder style. havent tried it myself but the top feeder v2 VTF is beauty from the beast ! cheesy right?

I haven't tried the Fatty but I already have two RM2's & you're right, they're great! I had seen so many great reviews on the Phillipino made attys & the Cyclone in particular, & since I really like SS I decided to give it a try. Once it gets here these three BF RDA's should hold me a while so I doubt I'll be looking for another one. (But we all know how THAT goes, right? haha) -Thanks!

My cyclone BF is great! The cool thing is that it can be used as a standard dripper if you want to. If you over drip it, you may het a little liquid on your positive contact, but the juice comes up the pos post about 1/8" and has no bottom drain like the RM2 does.

Will take a bit of adjusting to not over-squonk.

So I hear Xobeloot. I'll prolly try a different set-up than what I've come to prefer w/the RM2. I'm looking forward to playing w/it tho. Dialing in new stuff is a lot of fun.

I run mine with a 1/8" micro coil @ ~2.5 ohms on my vv bogger box cranked way up.

When I top feed it on a mechanical, i run dual micro coils at about 1.2 ohms

A single 1 Ohm micro-coil suits me fine on the RM2 w/cotton. But Ima gonna try XC116 w/a bit of a tail to try & take advantage of that lil pool of juice that's left after a squonk so I may need to play around w/the coil some...fun fun fun!

I use one q-tip head on the cyclone in single coil or dual coil/single wrap on one side with the remainder filling up almost the entire empty side. Helps hold any over-squonk, and reduces the air chamber by about 30+% which helps with the size of the clouds coming out of it

That looks great, I may have to rethink my initial build. Does the tail help supply juice to the coil? I mean do ya think any of the juice from the tail winds up actually being used?
