Just received mine, 6 days from acceptance to delivery (FT) so far pretty good. Way too heavy and tall.
Vapes well with heavy PG, I'll try VG next. No leaks during filling or use so far. Air ring needs tighten up, turns effortlessly.

Well maybe not as big as I thought, if I put on a different drip tip it's just slightly taller than a Taifun GT.

Oh that's a Oddy2Kayfun conversion kit in a Hercules with a Terminator tank section added in the top one.
I think soon it may have a polished finish, the thing is darn right ugly but it vapes fantastic.
0.7 Ω, dual 28 gauge Kanthal micros with cotton.

The Ukvapers forum and a discussion on fasttech talk about the white insulator under the positive deck is cheap plastic that easily melts. Can you confirm if it actually feels like delrin or simple plastic? Also hows the airflow through those 3 tiny holes under the coils?

It looks like cheap plastic to me, not to concerned with it melting unless I get careless. There are 3 small air holes on each side of the deck but only 3 under the air control ring. It is comparable more to a Kayfun than a Fogger or Aqua air wise. No lung hitter here just big flavor.

So after 24 hours+ use, I may have used it in my sleep this thing is a sure winner (for me). Nearing completion of the first tank full so no dry burn has been attempted as yet, probably tomorrow.
As far as ugly goes it keeps getting better looking as my satisfaction grows.
A lot of folks keep comparing Foggers and Aqua's to Kayfun's and Taifun's, the only similarities I see is they are all tanks.
I compare my Fogger's and Aqua's to things like Trident, 3d, ect.
This D-Eagle vapes like a TGT on steroids, not too airy just big flavor, maybe something like vaping two TGT's at the same time...LOL

Long story short, I can see this causing me to find my other atty's deficient.(I'm spoiled)

I was hoping to have some more to add like how the dry burn went but I haven't done it as yet. It's working so good that I don't want to "disturb"it. I have filled it 4 times with never a leak. I contribute that to the air hole being 3 small hole rather than i big hole (each side) and speed at which I get it closed back up. I filled it with heavy VG and it wicked great (2nd fill) but dumped that 'cause nic was too low, that's my big cloud juice and this isn't a lung hitter. I've only vaped a little over 1 tank so far with it.

Probably was a candidate for a dry burn but time to go to work soon.
I used what I learned from wicking the Fogger v4 and aqua here and that is not putting the cotton the whole length of the vertical channels. This is my first build on this so don't be too critical...LOL

You can't see it but the insulator is still intact.
When I looked at the picture I said "oh my that coil in the back is way higher so I tore it back down but it was the same height.
Look at the size of them channel, no Dremel required here.
I'm running it around 22.5 watts but 35 works well but it's already quite robust at 22.5
That's 0.7 Ω at 4 volts and 5

So i finally decided it was time for a dry burn, more so to post it than needing it.
I certainly wouldn't want to be dry burning a coil with a wick in it on this, because of the insulator.
All I did was limit my fire time while blowing the heat away from it, no other precautions were taken to protect the insulator.
The insulator does show ever the slightest signs of heat but that may have come when I pulsed and squeezed the coils upon installation, I totally forgot about the insulator when I did this. I also was vaping it at 35 watts for a while just to see it's capability.
Regardless the insulator is still intact. My 2nd one has been shipped, FT packages (e-pac) have been taking only 5 - 6 days from acceptance.

By the way, the base of this atty is just a hair to big to fit into the juice well of a Hana Modz (clone)
