Sometimes I get in this weird mood where I don't want to talk to anyone and just want to be left alone. I call this mood "Awake."
When you meet someone and they annoy you by rubbing in the fact that they have "Nicer weather than you...." just say, "My dogs toys taste salty...." I find that it moves the conversation right along!
Our men and women who serve and fight don't do it because they hate what's in front of them, they do it because they love what is behind them. Let us remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, those who have put their lives on hold to serve and fight, and their families, as we celebrate our freedom and independence today.
