When I was young, I was an optimist, I was going to change the world.

When I became an adult, I was a realist, I was going to co-exist with the world.

When I hit middle age, I was a pessimist, I was going to try to survive in the world.

Now that I am over 60, I see war, corruption, greed, etc. and I just say - "whatever".

Most you agree with what I just said, come on now, admit it. lol.

Gather your blankets in the living room (did this as a kid).....and put a TV, your laptop (didn't have that as a kid, but a necessity now), some M&M's, some coffee, 43 pillows in it and we'll all spend the day there........

In all honesty, I have to edit this because it wasn't a TV I put in my fort. It was one of the two radios that were in the house or a record player.
TV's have been around so long, or I have, that it just popped into my mind. At the time, we didn't have a TV and this sure tells my age.

You too, huh??? A blanket fort, some snacks and "Looney Tune" cartoons on the tv (we had two channels to chose from). Life was good. Life really got better a few years later, when I got a portable AM transistor radio.

I like to say that I was born in 1949 B.C. People ask what's the B.C. all about, I tell them Before Computers.
