In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
– Psalm 72:7-8

This Scripture had me pondering....'as the moon endureth?' What I have concluded is these two verses mean the same thing as far as time period.

Revelation 21:1 - And I saw a new heaven and new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

So, for me, this is a major foreshadow of what is to come. What does everyone else think? :?:

In the "New Heaven/New Earth" there's no need for either the Sun or Moon.... because GOD is the illumination.

" And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof." -Rev 21:23

Yes!!! Definite foreshadow of what is to come!

1 Peter 4:11 (KJV)
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

I learned Philippians 1:6 from a Christian artist's song. It was a Steve Green song. Now he has a STRONG voice. But the song goes for the 1st verse:

He who began a good work in you,
He who began a good work in you
Will be faithful to complete it
Will be faithful to complete it,
He who started the work will be faithful to complete it in you.

I knew it was Scripture when I heard it, and it has ministered to me repeatedly over the years and I can't tell you how it not only helps to exhort you, but the truth you can pass on to others to exhort them, because this Scripture tells you that what God starts in you, He'll not only help you to do it, but will be by your side as you do. Awesome verse. Awesome verse! Amein! Halleluhah!!
