Acts 22:16 (KJV)
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
– 2 Timothy 2:14-15

Mark 11:24-25 (KJV)
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.

Forgiving others is so important to your relationship with Almighty God. The animosity gets between you and God......not on purpose mind you, but it's there just the same. Forgiveness releases the stronghold on you. Sometimes it is so difficult that you have to keep saying it over and over. As my mother used to say, "You go through the motions until you go through the emotions." Sometimes we rebell so hard and tell God we just don't want to. I've told God that before.....that the person didn't deserve it. But then the Holy Spirit reminded me that "Who deserves salvation?" Well, He had me on that one. Then I said, "I will do it ONLY because You have asked me to, but not for the person." What a snot I was to Almighty God, but I did as He asked and I experienced such a freedom that I couldn't explain and the direct line to God was open once more. Does that make sense? Yes it does....now. It doesn't mean you have to be best friends with the person anymore, but without that forgiveness, God was under no obligation to forgive me of my sins. It's so important that Jesus put it into the Lord's Prayer.....'forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.' Matthew 6:12.

Matthew 6:14-15

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

It's true, and it works. :)

Deuteronomy 6:5 (KJV)
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (KJV)
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
– Job 36:11-12

Colossians 3:5 (KJV)
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Matthew 5:13 (KJV)
"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

These two verses go hand in hand. Jesus asked Nicodemus which commandment was the most important and Nicodemus stated the verse from Deuteronomy 6:5. Then in Mark 16:15-16 is the great commission. You have to have Deuteronomy 6:5 deep in your heart before you can even try Mark 16:15-16. Make sense?

These are both great Scriptures, but what caught my eye was 'and they shall die without knowledge.' It's difficult for me to comprehend dying without knowledge of the Most Wonderful Almighty God! It staggers my mind that there are people who say 'no' to the face of God! I would hide under a church pew!
