Romans 2:1 (KJV)
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
– Matthew 11:29-30

1 Timothy 6:7 (KJV)
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 2:1 - That is one big fat scarey Scripture! I can just feel that Heavenly Finger being shaken at mankind. Gives me the chills. 'Inexcusable' is final.....for eternity. Now Matthew 11:29-30........sometimes I don't feel that my yoke is easy and my burden light. Those are the days that you just want to have a good cry on the shoulder of THE Saviour.....there's only One....His Name is Jesus.

Matthew 5:28 (KJV)
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
– Psalm 104:33

Matthew 5:28.....I have difficulty reading this one after Jimmy Carter had a Playboy interview while he was president and confessed. There's just some things a president just shouldn't do and confess in a porn magazine. Forgive me.

Now Psalm 104:33 is a great verse, and I will say this...when the Lord said to make a joyful noise, He didn't tell you that you had to be on key. So, I sing in my head and it's in perfect pitch!

My preacher used to always say "I've never seen a U-Haul behind a casket." In other words, you can't take it with you! And, you can't. Your soul is priceless....NOTHING is worth losing your soul over.....NOTHING! Putting soapbox back under the couch.

Luke 2:10-11 (KJV)
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

John 12:24 (KJV)
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Luke 11:10 (KJV)
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

I hate to show how dumb I am, but I didn't quite get the gist of John 12:24. I must have had an extra case of 'duh!' So, off I go to Bible Gateway and found that it made more sense with the 23rd verse. It wasn't until I pulled up the Living Bible translation that had both verses together that I went......"ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Now I get it!" Then I went back to NKJV and it's below. Some days I'm just not the sharpest tack in the box!

John 12:23-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

23) But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24) Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."

As always, Bill, you make me dig!!!! And, that digging helps me to remember! Thank you! :)

Psalm 35:27-28 reminds me of the song "Shout to the Lord."

My Jesus, my Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You

My Jesus, my Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

You're my comfort
(My comfort)
And my shelter
(My shelter)
You're my tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You

Oh shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You.

John 7:37-38 (KJV)
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
