Ephesians 5:25 (NIV)
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
– 1 John 4:10-11

Hallelujah and Amen!!!!

And they said one to another, Was not our heart burning within us, while He spake to us in the way, while He opened to us the scriptures?
Luke 24:32

Jesus is alive! His Word is alive! Just as the men on their way to Emmaus realized they had encountered the living God, let us pursue that same encounter.

    No you can't
John 15:13 (NIV)You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
    – Psalm 32:7

I've learned to spend a lot of my time there, when I hear the singing, I rejoice and I'm overwhelmed knowing that God has covered me with His Grace and I'm never alone.

    Matthew 7:13 (NIV)
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

Who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

I believe that from this saying in Matthew 7:13 comes the expression: "Walk the straight and narrow." It's not an easy path. Just because we are Christians, the straight and narrow is not an easy feat. Back to the flesh. We like to walk the path of the least resistence. Most people hate confrontations, and try to keep the peace above all else. But this isn't the case for God's kids. Just being a Christian brings out the darker side of those around us. I used to enjoy the challenge of a good confrontation, before I became a born-again. It was a 'battle of the wits.' Winning was everything! But as a child of God, I shy away from them, unless I'm urged by the Holy Spirit to just tell the truth. Telling the truth is not being confrontational. There is purity in God's truth. It is not up to us to just pick and choose who we witness to.....it's Gods. It's not always easy. satan tries his hardest to make us feel like idiots. he tries to shame us for our beliefs in front of people. That is one of his tricks. But when we follow God's lead, your efforts will be rewarded. You may not even know until you get to heaven. That is what soldiers in God's army do. We keep going. God always has a reason, and it's not up to us to disect it. It's up to us to be obedient and faithful! :)

    Genesis 2:24 (NIV)
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity. Until I come, pay attention to reading, to exhortation, and to teaching.

    1 Timothy 2:5 (NIV)
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
    – John 11:25-26

    Happy Resurrection Day

Hallelujah & AMEN I do!!!!!!!
