Psalm 27:4-5 (KJV)
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

How eloquent King David was in Psalm 27:4-5. He was talking about a tabernacle and pavilion that hadn't been built as yet, but I think he was talking about a heavenly tabernacle and pavilion. How cool is that! He knew what is there! That's Divine revelation! No wonder God called David a 'man after His own heart.'

John 1:1-4 - Different cults have their own versions of the Bible. I saw a Jehovah's witness's bible and this particular verse blasphemes the true Scriptures. Theirs say, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with god and the word was a god." Jesus has no Trinity Deity. They took His Deity away by using a lower case g for God. That makes their book false. I did a little more research and they believe that when Jesus rose from the grave, that He turned into the Archangel Michael. I don't understand how they got that conclusion, but there you have it. How sad. :(

Daniel 2:20-22 (KJV)
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Revelation 19:1 (KJV)
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God.

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Daniel 2:20-22 'He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.' Don't ask why, but what came to mind is the 'Sin' Police with one of those spotlights attached to the front of the vehicle. His light uncovers all sin, even if it's done in the darkness. You can't escape The Light! Amein! Okay, I'll put myself in timeout. I do look at things differently than most.

Two great Scriptures. Psalm 34:8-9 reminds me of the old Petra song "Taste and See". I believe it was on the "Washes Whiter than Snow" LP. Oh that more people today would taste and see. Once we have tasted the goodness of the salvation of our God how can we not hunger for more?

I was scratching my head over the verbiage of 'taste and see.' But, Shann, since you put it like you did, it makes all the sense in the world. I did go to Bible Gateway and 'taste' is equal to 'try' or 'experience,' but 'taste' works better. Thank you! :) Oh, BTW, I'm a Carman gal. Petra is good, too, but I love the spiritual warfare songs that Carman does. :D

Carman's song 'Holding On' got me through many spiritual battles. The first time I heard him, he was singing 'The Champion.' Whoa Nellie! I was hooked. I love 'Lazarus;' 'satan Bite the Dust;' 'Witches Invitation;'Sunday School Rock;' 'People of God;'R.I.O.T.(Righteous Invasion of Truth);' there's too many to list. One of my favorites is......on the tip of my tongue.....the video is done at a castle....it'll come back to me. AHA! It's called, 'Great God!' I've seen him 3 times in concert and he is a nice looking man. He's battling cancer, and at the moment, he's cancer free, Praise God! The picture I saw.....whoa. He looked like he'd been 'rode hard and put away wet.' He said, "satan has picked on the wrong Italian!" He's right! :)

1 John 2:1 (KJV)
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:12 (KJV)
Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Psalms 118:24 (KJV)
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Acts 2:17 (KJV)

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
