I'm not sure how I did it, but somehow I've damaged the threads on an eGo Twist 900 mah battery. I'm unable to screw any of my tanks, clearomizers, etc onto it. Is there any simple fix for this problem, or is it possible to buy just the top pieces anywhere?

Would be a shame to throw this out as I've only had it for about 7 weeks. TIA for any suggestions :2cool:

To what extent are the threads damaged?

I tried looking for an eGo to 510 adapter (one that screws onto the eGo threads on the battery and has 510 threads on the atomizer side) but couldn't find anything. Best I could find is a 510 to eGo adapter.

If you could force the 510 to eGo adapter onto the battery, even if you could do it only once, that would still take care of your problem.

To what extent are the threads damaged?

They're damaged to the point that I can only screw on my charger, or a vivi nova, about 75% of the way. Close, but not enough to make a good contact. I've already damaged a perfectly good Vision Clearomizer trying to force it on and I don't want to damage any of my other devices trying, so, at this point, I'm just going to call it a loss. I did get 7 weeks of nice performance out of it for the $25. No big deal, I still am really wondering how common this problem is though.

I didn't really notice anything that would make me think they were poorly made, so I'm sure that messing up the threads must have been my fault. My Vision Spinner 1300 mah battery though does seem to have a "tighter" feel when I connect my devices to it, kinda hard to explain really, but I can feel it. Again, no biggie, I'm perfectly happy with what I have remaining and coming in the mail (can't wait for the Vamo V2 to get here, everyone seems to rave about it!)
