I broke a battery yesterday. Dropped my e-cig on the deck and the light stayed on. 10 hours later and it's still on.

Guess I can go ahead and make my Nicostik now. How do you pull the threads out of the battery? Just use a needlenose pliers and start yanking?

No, you may ruin the threads that way - it is brass, and it is a very soft metal. If you can, use a dead atty and screw it on the battery, and use the atty to wiggle it out. It should come out without too much work. You can use a new atty as well, but if you have an old one, that is always safer....

What battery did you have that stayed on for 10 hours straight? I want those.....

It's not providing power, just lighting the LED. I've seen other people say this has happened before; I'm assuming that the drop damaged some of the wiring or circuitry inside. Apparently the LED draws such little power it'll stay lit for weeks.
