What juice are you using. Just looks like normal wear and tear on a coil. Maybe a little gunk. What is going on with that dark spot on the coil?
It is 24g on the Plume Veil clone. I have been vaping it around 40 watts on a reg mod. It is just those 4 center coils that are dark.

Seduce Juice White Walker 30/70. The reason I ask is that the coil is less than 6 hours old. Have maybe vaped it 20-30 hits.
What's the ohms? Coils darken as they're used. They fire from the inside out, so it stands to reason the middle will be hotter than the outside and darken a little faster. I wouldnt worry.

I'm the same way. No worries. Vape on brother!!.3 ohms, you are probably right. I am new to this and over think everything lol.
I was going to suggest a hot spot, but gunking up is normal. I had gunk build up once to the point it looked like a solid black piece, but it vaped wonderfully. Couldn't even tell the wraps.
When you put the coils in, did you fire it without cotton to ensure they glow evenly from the inside to the outside? You want both coils glowing at the same time, otherwise one will dry hit while one is still juiced up. If they aren't glowing evenly, let us know and we can guide you how to fix them!
Looks like your wick was a little thicker on that coil in that exact spot is all. Looks like a good build. That's what all mine look like. I do a hot rinse under water, use a tooth brush for a light scouring, dry fire, tighten screws, adjust, rewick and vape.
Well gee I vape at 10 watts and my 30 gauge 2.5ohm coil is black
