i was thouroughly unimpressed with the clone, orings were too loose, airflow control was really loose, leaked like a sieve. honestly one of the nicest ones i have had for noob building is the igo-w bit tight stock, but fairly easy to drill and there are some aftermarket caps for it if you feel froggy

Same here for the Dark Horse. I don't see me using it ever again. The AFC is also limited in options. If you run it in single coil mode, you can't close it off much beyond blocking 1 of the slots before the other side starts to open up again. Probably my least favorite atomizer out of my ~15 or so.

I bought a Darkhorse clone from fasttech and could not be more impressed. It was one of the more expensive DH clones on the site (being that there are several). I believe it was around $16. The machining is great, all threads are solid. Center post does not spin. Has very large post holes. Great airflow options. Tight-fitting o-rings. And as a bonus, it comes with 2 super wide-bore drip tips. I would definitely reccomend checking it out :)

I guess to each their own. It's leaky, juice gets ALL behind the afc ring and some gets past the bottom o rings. Adjusting the airflow is cumbersome since the ring fits so loose, and when you tighten down the top cap it tends to move out of place. My threads are pretty janky, but maybe I just got one from a bad batch? Also, the flavor is mediocre at best.

Definitely not a flavor rig for sure, but sounds to me like you got a bad batch. my Orings fit really really tight, and the afc ring and threads are smooth and nice.
