Oh and i wouldnt get the mutation x v2. Its a pain in the ... with the set screws triangle nonsense and you can use any other drip tip other than what it cones with without sticking your drip tip into the factory one. The v3 is coming out soon and fixes all those issues. The v2 does work great but those issues made it a dud for me

yeah, i saw the mutation x v2 and the thing that got me was those dumb triangle screws. I bought the Cigreen X which is technically just a better version of what the version 2 mutation was. If you want mutation x type rdas, or are a fan of them. originvape/cigreen makes high quality versions of them. they just released a hinged version style one also that I have on the way.

I'm running 6 wraps of 22 Ga. around one of those little blue handle screw drivers they always give you in dual coil on my Dark Horse. Gives about .16 to .18 ohms. Also I make my wicks with japanese natural cotton. Much better that cotton balls. I am vaping this on my ipv 3 at 70 watts. Gives me almost as much flavor as my Magma and much better vapor production. I also set my air flow to wide open with the bar splitting the holes and I use the large drip tip. The Plumeveil also works well and produces more vapor than the Magma. Just be careful. The Plumeveil has an adjustable drip tip for more air flow. If you screw this down too close to the coils it will warp the insulator at the top.

plume veil 1.5 here and it gives great flavor and honestly my tobh gives pretty good flavor too still love my tobh, but the plume veil with the 510 adapter(which reduces the chamber) in single coil mod is what i go for flavor( take the top cap off throw in some dual parralels and put a chuff cap on it and she chuckksssss with still pretty great flavor)

I just tried a dual parallel in it, it definitely chucked some clouds but was a little to hot for me to vape on steady. Went back to two simple micro coils at .5 ohms. I unscrewed the base for the drip tip and I'm just puffing off the barrel. Mine didn't come with a drip tip..

weird. i thought all darkhorse comes with at least the wide bore and the 510 adaptor piece. even my sub20$ clones come with mouthpiece/driptips
