Dark Liquids and cartos

CE2's may work a little better with dark juices, but using dark juices pretty much means sacrificing carto lifetime.
I read where someone who just couldn't do without there dark juice, tried filtering it through a cotton ball.
They claimed it worked and didn't effect flavor. Seemed like a lot of trouble to me.
After spending $40 a week on cigs, I'm happy with a weeks use out of a $1.80 carto.
That being said, I use DC cartos, and get about 3 weeks use, even with the "Havana Bourbon"
from Vaporrenu. ( a very dark tobacco e-juice )

Cleaning should help some, but if your juice has a lot of particulates in it,
the main problem is the coils getting gunked up, and just flushing with water
wont help. Maybe using an ultrasonic cleaner and then flushing?
