Data piezo switches????

Does anyone know anything about these switches? I have never heard of them.

Hmmm..I see they are a bit large...around 1"...but what about the technology behind the button?

1.1 talks about only closing the circuit for a short time. Very cool but I do not think it will work for a mod, but a very cool switch anyway.

I see...yeah that wouldn't cut it would it. I kinda figured it would be something like that because piezos are usually used for just a spark or short burst of energy...oh well. Thanks for your input and link BB.

If it is an actual piezo switch, it should hold the circuit closed as long as vibration is applied.

It would be interesting to test the functionality of the switches.

Effectively, a piezo produces small amounts of electric current when vibration/pressure is applied (the reverse is also true), and i'm sure it uses this current with a relay to run the circuit.
