I started my e-pipe just over 24 hours ago and I couldn't taste it at all. But when I loaded it up today, I could actually taste it a little bit. I have only had about a bowl and a half of the old stuff since I got this and may not pack one at all today if the juice holds up. (I didn't order juice to go with it so I am waiting on a shipment that is probably a day or two away minimum)

I am not sure what comes preloaded in the carts that came with the pipe, but it has very little tobacco taste and I can still feel no nicotine, even from the "high" cart. It reminds me of breathing co2 vapors from dry ice with a hint of spicy sweetness. I cannot wait till my french pipe and ry4 get here from aromaejuice.com. It will be a while before my cappuccino and jasmine arrive from healthcabin with my KR mini pipe though. I chose the cheap shipping and they said 15 to 28 days. I kinda wish I had spent the extra $10 for faster shipping, but I have to watch my spending.

It will take some time. Foods will taste differently. I used to love green onions, but now they are very "onioney", for lack of a better word. I'd give your taste buds some time to heal/regrow and you'll find that eventually, you'll prefer vapor over tobacco smoke.

If it's working for me, it can work for anyone! I'm down to 2 real smokes per day, and they are starting to taste disgusting!

As far as not feeling like your getting nicotine, up your nicotine levels or puff on your vapor more. In time, you'll just know your getting nicotine, as your not jittery, nervous, excitable and all of the other things that come from withdraw.

I personally feel that the nicotine absorbed through vaping is absorbed more slowly than tobacco smoke nicotine, but it does get absorbed. Be patient and give it a fair chance..

Don't be surprised if your 'tastebuds' (its actually your sense of smell) go away again, and come back, and go away over the next few weeks (or months). This is perfectly normal when one has quit smoking (even if you haven't vaped ever); you might also find your nose becomes more sensitive to other pollutants (and pefume/cologne/body spray) or pollens which is very annoying lol.
I now sneeze way more than I used to, and can track cigarette smoke at a thousand paces! I like the smell alas the smoke now makes me sneeze - how ironic.

I've quit smoking in the past, albeit using much more difficult methods than vaping. My sense of smell always improved. But my sense of taste never changed to any great degree and hasn't changed this time either. That's alright though. I don't need for my favorite foods or drinks to taste any better than they already do. They're tempting enough as it is.

I've talked to other long quit smokers who reported the same. I think it's overrated propoganda from the anti-smoking nazis that we've been trained to believe. But that's me and my experience. Maybe yours will be different.

When I was younger and smoked cigarettes, my sense of smell was affected, but my sense of taste wasn't. When I started back nearly a year ago, it was cigars, then pipes. That is much different smoke not really meant to be inhaled though I could never just puff, I always inhaled. Both smell and taste were dulled.

Today, the juice vapor tastes vaguely like cigarettes without the nasty, smoky, ashy, taste. The taste is barely noticeable, but it is there. I don't care for the taste of cigarettes, so I am really looking forward to my new juices arriving.

As for becoming more sensitive to other pollutants, I already expected that. My friends looked at me like I was crazy, but whenever my allergies would start getting the better of me, I would pack a bowl and smoke it. It always worked better than any allergy med out there.
