Hey all. Day one without an analog. Ive been learning about vaping for awhile now. Just bought a magma although I have no idea what kind it is. Its manual with a clearomizer. I fill it up with ejuice, which isn't strong enough. But so far so good today. Ive had it for about 3 days and I cleaned the cart today. What a difference! I notice I do A LOT of vaping. I have a hard time since its not like it goes out to tell me I'm done. Just thought Id say hi. Any advice for a NOOB is welcome. Talk to y'all later.

Kristin do you know what mg you are vaping? If the juice isn't strong enough it might be that you need a higher mg. I had to up my mg to get to where I was satisfied. My advice is drink lots of water, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/85781-deals-steals.html is a good place to look for the latest sales (great for reordering cartos and juice), http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...iscussion/146219-coupon-code-master-list.html lists the current coupon codes for lots of companies and enjoy your new lifestyle!!!!! Welcome to Vaping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin, welcome to vaping and ECF.

I second what taintedhalo says, if the juice isn't strong enough on the nicotine, you'll have a harder and harder time as you go longer without an analog. You WILL get cravings over the next few weeks, and being able to quell them quickly is important.

Technique is important too... it took me a few days to figure out how to get the best absorption of nicotine. This is why having a higher mg level initially, as mentioned in the beginners tutorial on this site, is good advice in my opinion.

YES YES..... Welcome, all my previous attempts to quit analogs resulted in 'cheating' or sneaking just a puff which led to only a half of one which turned into just a couple until I was right back where I was before I tired to quit - smoking....

Again welcome to new and seemingly amazing alternative.

I am on day 15. put out my last analog when I went into Puresmoker and got my Icon V1.1, cartomisers, and juice. I do seem to vape more often than I smoked, but as I did not smoke in the house I had to put effort into it. Although when I vape it is just a hit or two at a time while I am doing other things. Did over-do it the first week end of vaping, that headache sucked!!! But man the flavors are soooooo much better than analogs.

There is a never ending amount of info and advice here!! Keep with it!!!!

Kristen, I am new to this site, but not new to vaping. For me the switch from analog to vaping was a slower process. I smoked both for about 2 weeks, but it was through that time that I was able to switch. The biggest thing I did was learn to make my own juice. If you know what is in it, if you know all about it, you will know how to make it a better experience. Best of luck.

Hi Kristin, my advice is stick with it! Find whatever works best for you and you'll eventually get to that point to where you absolutely love vaping and wouldn't dream of picking up analogs again.

Definitely try some higher mg strength if you're finding what you have is too weak. There are tons of juice vendors and flavors, you're sure to find something that suits you.
