Well I'm in my third official day without analogues, going well been vaping cappuccino carts I got with my jac vapour nice too but after two days I decided it was time for a change, so I started out mixing my own flavours with a load of flavours I got from liberty flights, blackberry crumble, butterscotch, and apple, first mix was ok but flavour was weak, had a 2 mg pg base 25 mg nix one mg mixer as in vg, and a touch of water and four drops of flavour, throat hit was ok and could taste a very slight sweetness but wasn't Much else there, so tried a batch of apple same recipe but six drops of flavour again vapable enough but a little thin on the flavour front, so decided to make a batch of blackberry crumble with ten drops of flavour to 3 mg mix, bingo a nice sweet hit with a pleasant aftertaste, not something u could vape all the time but nice for a change, so my recipe seems to be 2 mg pg base 25mg nic, one mg of vg diluted with 25% water I used boiled water from the kettle as I couldn't find any de ionized or distiller water in boots or anywhere else in town tescos included :(( if u have anywhere I can get better water feel free to post, but all in all I'm really happy with the result and even more determined not to ever smoke an analog again, just thought I'd share it with u guys, hehe prob not a great achievement but I'm happy with it, happy vaping

Congrats on the (analog) kill streak!

Im on day 5 myself but Im still vaping prefilled cartos on my little 808. I have a kgo on the way and I cant wait to start playing around with the juice. Is destiller water the same as destilled water? If so you can get that by the gallon at CVS (i use it to fill the batteries on my forklift).

Great job! Days three and four were the hardest for me, so I wish you the best of luck. Just keep vaping, drink lots of water, and don't fret if you start feeling a little under the weather. I thought I had the flu or was having a reaction to the chemicals in the vapor, but it turned out to be withdrawals. If your cravings for an analog become overpowering try to vape like you used to smoke (as in going outside or wherever you used to smoke). Don't feel bad if you have to resort to a few drags from a cigarette, either. Just be kind to yourself and be proud of your accomplishments. Vape on!

Gratz super sorry not storm this is what happens when u take to many banned drugs when ur young lol, keep it up super :)

lolz, no worries bud. I haven't had the urge to smoke an analog at all.... yet. (I have a feeling it may be coming but so far so good.) The thing is I have been feeling a little off. Not sick or anything, just weird. I'm thinking my body is just adjusting to the absence of tobacco smoke.

How bout you?

That sounds almost exactly like my experience so far. Still compared to what I used to go through when I tried to quit this has been a walk in the park.

I'll definitely hit you up if I start to slip and feel free to do the same. That goes for anybody else too, thats what ECF is all about yeah? Well that and setting up really sick vaping rigs and custom juice blends. :)

I've reached about my eighteenth hour without normal cigarettes, vaping exclusively. I didn't realize I should expect withdrawal symptoms. I haven't experienced any withdrawal yet, but I think I might be craving a real cigarette right about now. Might it be better to smoke just a couple of regular cigarettes per day while I get used to vaping? Especially because I'm using one of those cheap Maya devices--this forum makes it clear that I'm really missing out on some of the best features by not investing in an expensive mod system. I just can't believe these things feel like smoking real cigarettes. I assumed for years that must be impossible.

Congrats on taking the first step!
I think after about 4 days I began feeling kinda bad, I guess that was my body getting over the other chemicals in cigarettes, but it didn't last long at all. Surprisingly tho, after only 2 months cigarettes really started smelling bad to me. That was total a shock after 30 years of smoking!
I had to keep a bottle or two of my favorite juices at a higher nicotine level, to help me through when I first started making my own juice. Just in case lol ;)

Zjb, hmm I don't know how to answer your question lol, if it works for you fine then have a go, personally I'd skip smoking real cigs as its more temptation in your way and more crap in your lungs, u can get a decent setup for less than £40 I just have a jac vapour excel starter kit, rest is just flavours and base for mixing my own, with the jac u get two battery's and a portable charging case so u can charge one battery whilst using the other, I'm refilling the carts I got with it, but u don't have to u can buy more for £7 or just less for five prob works out a pound a day doing that but they can be refilled again, and u can pic a strong strength if u want to to help you, I was going to go for the sky cig but heard jac vapour was good so went for that and haven't looked back since, but quitting is highly personal to who's doing it and how you are doing it, do just do whatever is the best for you is all I can say but don't give up, plenty of people here who can help you:) your never alone

This might sound dumb, but I didn't realize when I first tried vaping that it could be a way to quit smoking. I just wanted to know what it felt like. I never imagined that e-cigarettes could replace real ones. Then I saw this thread about withdrawal and I noticed it was nearly 5PM and I hadn't left my desk to smoke a cigarette all day. Then I got kind of panicky. I didn't want to quit smoking by accident--not sure why that would matter to me, but I felt strongly about it. So I went downstairs and smoked a real cigarette. Then I smoked another. After the second one, I had a bit of an epiphany: real cigarettes present a million terrible problems and not one advantage over e-cigarettes. So now I'm on board. I'm making the switch to vapor. But I don't feel like I'm giving up anything that I'll miss. If I experience withdrawal symptoms, then maybe I'll smoke one or two real cigarettes per day until I have no more. But I don't anticipate having the sort of miserable withdrawal symptoms that one has with cold turkey quitting. My body still seems to think I'm a regular smoker. Do most people who switch encounter serious withdrawal issues? What are we withdrawing from if we're still ingesting nicotine on a regular basis?
