Hi...
I've been reading the forums for a while (vaping since October) and have just made my first DIY order! I have a question...
I've got the iPhone app for calculating mixes (ml etc) but it only allows me to put in one flavour percentage. Lots of the recipes in the forum list more than one flavour and have percentages next to each. Would I add up all of the percentages and enter that in the calculator, take the resulting amount of ml and work out how to split that between the different flavours? Or would I need to do something different?
For example... Let's say the recipe says 12% Apple and 6% Blackcurrant. I have 72mg base, making a 70/30 PG/AG mix at 8mg and I'm making 30ml. Do I put 18% in the calculator for flavouring %?
If so, that gives me 5.4ml of flavouring. Would that be 3.6ml Apple and 1.8ml Blackcurrant?
Also, I have PG and AG. As far as I know, AG is just VG with water added. Is that correct? If I want a 70/30 PG/VG mix (which seems to be a common ratio), do I need to make any adjustments because it's AG instead, and would I put 30% into the "VG or Alcohol Added" field in the calculator?
Sorry for all the questions... I made a huge order with TFA today and want to make sure that I'm doing everything right when it gets delivered!
Thanks...
Matt
