I am just getting into rebuildables and really enjoy all the benefits of them. From the intense flavor and vapor to the building of coils and all the "learning curve" that goes along with them (thanks forum members). But in all of this I have been looking at every different one I can find be it here or YouTube or wherever. I have looked at all I can including the Chinese clones and read the reviews and discussions.

What I am looking for is recommendations on a quality unit with a tank that doesn't take a surgeons hands to rebuild and won't bankrupt Fort Knox. So all recommendations are truly appreciated. I am leaning toward this configuration. GENISIS RBA.jpg

I would recommend the Terminator C from Rainbow Heaven. It is a bit more expensive than something like the AGA-T, but for a complete newbie, it is a tank RBA that you could actually get working. It does require the use of non resistance wire, but you can buy ready wire that has NR leads attached to Kanthal. IMHO, with the ready wire, attys like this are not a lot more difficult to build than a dripper. The Term-C is around $55-$65 depending on the vendor.

If you don't mind spending a bit more, you could also go with the Kayfun Lite or the Russian 91%. They are both around $100, but do not require the use of NR wire. The Kayfun Lite is an amazing atty and is not super difficult to set up either.

Lastly, there is no set in stone rule that genesis style atomizers (like the RSST, AGA-T, etc...) have to be set up with SS mesh. If the price tag on the above attys is too steep for you, you could always get an RSST and use silica or cotton. SS mesh is incredibly finicky to use as a wick. It can take a newbie a really long time to set up a working SS coil, so that is why I would steer people that are just starting to use something else.

Jazzi Mike thanks for the reply and recommendations, I definitely will research them. I have no problem setting up SS mesh wicks. My first rebuildable was the the impossible IGO-F which after trying for 20 minutes to insert the silica into the wicking holes gave up and built a minute SS mesh wick.

I still am on my recommendation quest and value the input of the Forum members immensely. I can watch all the YouTube reviews but IMHO the real day to day experience of Forum members like you is much more valuable.

I would recommend the Russian,or the Russian 91%.They are silica devices but mesh can be used if careful. For $95 you can't beat it.As the OP said the Terminator-C is not a bad choice either i have it and it vapes very well.If the Russian is not for you then i would suggest the RSST,it is beginner friendly for those just getting into RBA's and wanting a Gene. style device at $30,you can't beat this either.

EDIT: This is a good Gene. style, http://www.richmanvapors.com/RichMan_Rebuildable_Atomizer_p/richmanrba.htm .

I would suggest the Kayfun Lite or the Russian 91%. The Kayfun Lite was my 2nd rebuildable after an igo-l. After seeing how easy it is to setup with micro coil and cotton, I decided I wanted one. It didn't disappoint! There could be a learning curve but it's the same with all rebuildables since it's only as good as the coil and wick you build. Another good thing about the kayfun lite is that there's quite a following here. You'll get ideas and help from those guys when you need it.

After reading your reply, mackman, I would say a few things that separate the kayfuns/GG clones. With both the GG clones and Kayfun, one of the major advantages is that they don't leak once they are set up correctly. They are definitely easier to set than a genesis and taste better than other silica based coils. I would even go as far as to say they are as close to dripping with a tank as you can get.

That being said, the genesis atomizers definitely have a touch better flavor when set up with either SS mesh or rope when compared with the KF or GG clones. However, setting up a genesis is much more difficult. Most genesis attys also have the unfortunate issue with leaking if they are not held upright.

Out of them all, my Kafun Lite and GGclones get the most use. The Hercules and Terminator C, along with the KFL are solid enough to take along with me while I am out and about.

I'm a huge fan of the dream 804s (kayfun clone). They provide a stellar vape but the niggles are that you need a dummy plug or a something to plug the mouthpiece before unscrewing the tank and refilling from the bottom, plus they only hold about 1 ml at a time.

For the ss mesh types, and if you need a glass tank, this looks interesting but seems to be fairly new and needs some reviews to see if they got a good scald on it or not. $15.99 ATTY RBA Rebuildable Atomizer (2.5mL) - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I don't have one, but I hear the RSST is a good place to start. The Richman is also supposed to be good, I would like to get one when I have the money.

I do have the AGA T+ and AGI, and I am very happy with them.

Whatever you choose, I am sure you will be happy with it. Happy rebuilding, and may all your coils be good ones.
