Has anyone else had an issue with DB Modz? I was having issues with my da mini v2, so I contacted them and was told to send it in and they would take a look at it... This was the 2nd week of May... I have emailed, Facebook messaged and commented on his Facebook "like page".. I have received no response, my comments have been deleted and now he had made it so that no one can leave comments or posts on his like page... However, I do know he is still taking pre-orders for new upcoming mods... Anyone have any idea how to stop this guy from taking advantage of anyone else? I know I'm not alone. yes. i had a faulty 510, which i sent in for repair. basically, he forgot all about it, and 7 weeks later, after countless emails, texts, phone calls, smoke signals...you name it-i tried to contact him, i finally got my repaired mod back, with the same issue. i was told i was going to receive a replacement mod, and that was 3 months ago. i got a tracking number from him on the 21st of june, but all i see on the usps website is ELECTRONIC SHIPPING INFO RECEIVED, which basically means that he printed a label. the package has not moved, and he won't return messages. i've been patient, and i've been understanding. i know the guy builds these things by hand, and he's a small operation. however, not one message has been returned in over a month. phone calls go straight to voice mail, and voice mail is always full. in the rare event that i can leave a message, i might as well be talking to myself. i can't get the guy to return my messages to save my life. horrible customer service.

the vape community is tightly knit, and word of mouth gets around. there are a lot of disappointed, angry customers here, and DB Modz gets away with it somehow. We need to get the word out about this. I was under the impression after watching Rip Tripper's follow up video that things were going to be handled differently, but I am telling you first hand, that they aren't. I have been dealing with this since JANUARY, when I ordered my mod. I have had nothing but problems trying to reach him and trying to resolve this issue. It isn't fair, and I want my mod or my money back. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like either of those things will happen.

He has had my da mini v2 for over 3 months. He has told me twice now that it was fixed and he was sending it back. He has NOT sent it. He ignores all attempts at communication until I get angry and post a facebook message. Then suddenly, like magic, he will message me with a list of excuses and a promise that it is fixed and on the way to the post office. I have even told him that if something happened to my box (yellow #061) that i was fine with him replacing it with another of the same model in ANY color. But he never respomded. He is a liar and IMO a thief. He is promising a warranty service that he either will not or can not provide. He has stolen $240 from me and many others like me that are in the same boat. If anyone else is having issues, please check out this facebook page and share your story. i am still trying to get in touch with Daniel-it's been over a month since he sent a bogus tracking number (usps website says electronic shipping info received-translation: he printed a label), and i can't get any info from him to save my life. at this point, i've given up on ever seeing that mod or my money. however, i would like to get the word out to potential victims, so they don't have to go through what i've been going through, or what countless other people are going through with this company.

this is all based on personal experience, from me dealing first hand with them. in no way am i attempting to slam a vendor. just telling the truth here.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I would hate for anyone to go through what I have been through for the past 8 months. Plus, there are now mods that far surpass the dna mods anyway. I only wish I waited. My clopur chna is working great, and I just got a supermax from Artisan Vapes in Canada... Holy moly!!!
