DC/DC converter help

I'm planning on making a box mod and was researching various options. I found a 60A chip I think would work great. Input voltage is 2.95-5.5 and output is 0.8-2.5. My question for help is would this work out not? I plan to run 2 maybe even 3 batteries in parallel. 18650 or 22650 for extended life. Any input would be great.

You'd be limted to 2.5V to the atty... I'd try searching on DigiKey or Mouser for "raptor" or "okami"
You may want to start with a 10A board to get your feet wet, they're MUCH cheaper to replace if you burn one out, and there's plenty of write-ups for those
