Would this work on a box mod?
If you place it kinda slanted will it fit a AA slot?

One problem might be the 2 amp limit on it. A LR can draw over 2.5 depending on how hot you like to vape at.

It's hard to to find boosters with high output. It's because you're going from lower voltage and higher curent to higher voltage and lower current. It's like going uphill. Buck regulators do the opposite so it's easy to find them with high outputs.

So its ok if you use a normal or hr atomizer?

I think, this board will work with HR atomizers. If you like voltage about 4.5 - 5 volts and higher and max 10 watt for you is enough, should work. And price for real booster is good enough. If I had not already working booster, I would try this board.

This is the one I'm going to try I just ordered yesterday so it will be a while before they get here. I like the boge 2 ohm cartos so the 3 amp max is a plus.

I'd be sure to use an IMR high-drain battery with the LM2577 (or possibly 2 batts in parallel). I made a mod with a LM2577 module; but was using a cheapy eBay 18650 and wasn't getting much boost. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/236779-first-li-ion-battery-mod.html

This chip looks really nice actually. And the price is right. I have been using the Dimension Engineering 3A part and although it works great...it's just too darn expensive. I'll be watching this thread and hope to hear about your results.
