We've got so much stuff pending it's silly but it's taking a bit of time for China to churn stuff out from after they're holiday. I'll post asap when we at least have tracking #'s. We've got a good variety of replacement tank cartos coming in.

Are you planning on carrying the tanks without the atomizers? I see someone else carrying 6ml ones without DC cartomizers (looks like the 5ml ones you carry) for under $5..I got the DCT kit a week ago from you and plan on trying to use CE2's (they also carry CE2's and I hope you carry them again soon) in the tanks if they work (pretty sure they will) and if they work well I plan on buying a couple more when I order again. Colors would be nice too so I can tell the difference between my juices...

Hoogie, Can I buy replacement tubes for the DCT? I didn't see just the tube available at your website so I submitted a ticket asking that question. Below is the communication as it stands.

Message:

Madvapes,

I have one of your carto tanks that I'd like to buy spare tubes for. Is that possible? Please advise.

Dual Coil 510 Chrome Tank Cartomizer

Thank you!

Could I at least get a link to them? I looked at your website and didn't see anything that would be used as a carto tank replacement tube. So, not really resolved as of yet my friend.

Thank you

I found the best way to cE2 these tanks is to drill 2 1/8th holes (or puncture/punch) on each side toward the bottom of the carto and one near the top, just below the wide lip of the ceramic cup. Juice goes in, air goes out (and vice versa). Works like a charm. With the ST tanks I also found that if you take a very thin washer and place it between the threads of the carto and a 510 shorty it will act as a flange.

I'm either going to cut the CE2 tubes with my tube cutter or grind 2 slots down the sides..the tubes come right off CE2's so it's easy to work on them and I have enough to practice on lol..yeah I though about the washer but I have the tank kit with the cones so as long as it's on my battery they will stop the tank from sliding.

Also when the 4-DC cartomizers I have are used up I'm going to pull them apart and see if I can modify them to use CE2 parts on. I probably can do it if it's possible as I have rebuilt CE2's before and even modified a few made "CE2omizers" to use for dripping..I solder my own coils after a bit of practice it's really easy :)

I think we have quite a bit in common then...I have made my own clearatty's (about the same height as an atty for dripping as well. I would love to see your design. I use black e2's (which most people just call cE2's) daily, so when the sticker wears out I strip the tube clean and use them in tanks. CE's are much easier to work with. 3/8th inch bottom tube with a half inch top tube works really well if you like the DT close to the tank but still seems fairly stable. You wont get much juice into the mini though because of the thickness of the gromets if you use a standard cE2. Use an XL and sink the grommets to the O-rings.

I fyou want the stability of leaving the tube then just cut a slit from grommet to grommet.

I used some of the regular length CE2 clearomizers I have and removed the shrink wrap as it isn't needed..soldered new coils on when needed and I use wicks from broken CE2's..I try to use a wick that isn't too long so it wraps around the ceramic I found it doesn't have to go all the way around though..to catch the juice that gets on the sides although no matter what I've tried the tubes fill up and it wastes a little juice (wastes more with the thick Carmel Tobacco I use because it turns dark and doesn't all vape)..it's worth it though and it's not much that is wasted..I push the wick up and put metal tubes on them then I tuck the wicks around the ceramic and tube so they catch the juice.

I pressed on metal tubes from atomizers and old shorter cartomizers I had with a bench vice. I tried a few different things like wrapping mesh around the wicks or the whole thing but I found that the simplest way works best..I'm only using them for dripping with my DoD and it works really good..CE2's ceramic and design holds up way better than the ceramic in the atomizers I have tried. I have kept all the e-cig stuff I've bought that could be useful so I have lots of parts to mess with.

I haven't decided how I'm going to slot the tubes yet..I may grind a good amount out of both sides..I need to search through the tool box as I'm sure there is something there to grind with as my dad used to own a body shop that I used to work at..I'm a better mechanic than painter though as I have put in at least a couple dozen engines and done lots of other work on cars.

Plus I have tinkered with electronics since I was a child and I repaired consoles games for my friends game shop for almost 4 years (mostly PS2's) lol..no small rotary tool though I have been thinking of buying one though..the biggest issue will be holding the tube when grinding it drilling because they could be easily deformed. I might take some pics or video of my "CE2omizers" sometime and post something in the modding forums..they are really simple to make and last a long time..I use them until they either are gunked up or taste a bit funny and just pull them apart, rinse them, burn them off and put them back together..the coils rarely burn out unless I let them get too hot when burning them off :)

+1

Can you stock tube and end caps for $5-6 like the others?
I need to buy a heap and run about 6 tanks at a time :2cool:

Will these pre-punched cartos work with the MV 3.5ml DCT?
X2 Dual Coil 510 Pre-Drilled (punched) Cartomizers - Avid Vaper

They are working just fine though Madvapes seem to be a bit better for having better vapor production.
The Avid's have a completely round baseplate and do not fit into the base of the tank.
That being said, they are indeed long enough to work.
I still want my next refills to be Madvapes.
Please, please, please, China, get your act together. If a holiday can slow your production this dramatically, you're doing it wrong.
