Set the voltmeter at next highest scale to what you expect to read. 200k is good. A DCC should read 1.6 ohms since the two 3.2 ohm
coils are in parallel. You are reading
through them as if they were side by side with the leads touching at each end.
If you are suspecting that one of the
coils is open, then in that case, you would read 3.2 ohms, indicating one was blown or not connected.
