Has anyone tried these and like them? I love the Stardust, but they break way too easily. They produce great vapor and taste, but they're not worth it. Do these have good flavor too? Do they last awhile? I know you can buy replacements for them.

Any info would be great! :D I've got to find something that I like and lasts awhile.

Love them! also check out crystalclearvaping.. he has free shipping :)

tanks don't have anything to do with flavor and vapor.. that's up to the carto you put in it. ccv also sells replacement o-rings for them. So I would imagine they last. The only thing is that right now, most tanks are made of polycarbonate and it has been known to crack with some juices. My dctanks are made of polypropylene, they're not supposed to crack. I don't actually know where mine came from.. got them from a co-op.

Thanks so much. I think I'll get Boge cartos for it. I'm going for the smaller one so those should fit shouldn't they? Do I just poke a hole in the side of the carto?

Those are pretty good. You have to be leery of what type of juice you put in there since that can lead to a cracked tank. If you own a mod then I would HIGHLY suggest you check this out:

Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Tanks

They are highly durable and stylish. Many different designs and styles to choose from. Also, there are 3 sizes to match any type of carto that your using.

Just beware, if those are the same DCT tanks as I have (from another vendor) the shorter Boges don't fit, you have to cut the tank down a little bit :D

Oh darn it. I don't have a mod and I kind of want something that will work without too much work. :D Maybe I'll just try the replacements that come with it. Is there a preference from anyone about single coil or dual coil?

On the juice cracking the tank, is that just the cinnamon juices? I love them, but anything with cinnamon causes me to wheeze and cough so I won't be using it. Any other juices I should watch out for?

Thanks for the help. :)

Its actually not that much of a bother, I actually did a post asking about it the other day before I did it and got some great advice which was to stick a bit of dowel (or as I saw on youtube) a small socket into the tube to keep it rigid and then used a pipe cutter, took just a minute of my time. I will probably buy some more now as they aren't that expensive and do the same it was that easy, as they look better (read smaller and less silly) on my Ego batts which I now use for camping, travelling etc.

I've tried the carto that came with it, and several 510 dual coils which I punched myself, but my preference is for the higher resistance single coils, but that is because my main PV at home is a Lavatube and that limits the voltage of LR cartos and attys.

Oh and edited to add: The only other juices Ive seen people caution against are citrus ones, so as yet I've not tried my Lime Zinger or Sherbert Lemon in it, everything else seems ok though :D

I just bought one of these: Tanks - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop

You can get the Mini Sub Tank for 2.0ohm & 3.0ohm Boge cartos; or the Submarine Tank for XL cartos - Smoketek 1.7ohm. M&P pre-punch their cartos with three punch holes. Been vaping 100%VG Gorilla Juice all day without a hitch. (at least in the 3ohm boge) Without a high voltage mod, you'd probably be best off with the larger Submarine Tank and the 1.7ohms.

Pbusardo reviews them here: Taste Your Juice | Mini-Sub Tank from Mom And Pop Vapor Shop

There is some issues with the lipless grommets, very tight fitting cartos, and apparent difficulty changing them. But once you see PB's video, it's not all that bad... at least in my opinion. Many have reported no leaking, and high satisfaction, me being one of them. The thumb screw alows for easy filling with a syringe or a bottle filler tip (provided for purchase from M&P) Note Dotma's video on filling them on the site. I got a free syringe with my order. Nice people over there. Plus, on the carto side, you can't go wrong with the Boges and Smokteks.

Oh... and they're only $13 for the Mini Sub. Check the Submarine... I'm not sure if it's the same.

Happy vaping. :)

Thanks everyone! That mini-sub looks cool because of the way you can fill it. I didn't think about filling the ones without it. Duh! I guess you just slide the rubber seal up? wyetterp, do they make a double coil XL Boge? I'd have to poke a hole in those though wouldn't I? And thanks taraMc about the juice mention. I love lemon! Darn it. :) Oh and those handmade glass ones look awesome, but a bit on the pricey side for me right now. Maybe I'll ask for it as a Christmas gift. :D

I prefer 3ohm single coils for everything. Boge now makes a XL single coil that will fit in DC tanks. The tube is 45mm. CCV has them but they are calling them mega. I got mine from healthcabin & loving them. No need to cut a tank down anymore.

How did you ever figure out that the CCV Boges were the 45mm version, they give no description at all. I would have bought from them if I could have figured that out. I too ordered some from Healthcabin.

Hi, donnah. Your tanks came directly from Smoktech. They are the same one offered by LF. I don't know why most vendors are not jumping on the fact that they're polypropylene. IMHO, it'd be a big selling point.

I did go ahead and purchase one from Liberty Flights (paypal). Is that who (or is it whom? Never can get that right!) you mean when you say LF? I hope so because I'm am tired of things breaking and cracking on me! :( :)

I just figured out, with lots of help, in another thread I posted that it is the juices I was using that was destroying my Stardusts. I guess they are polycarbonate.

Yes, you got the right one. It won't crack. I have been using the polypropylene tanks, and I use a lot of heavy citrus and sour flavors, as well as cinnamon, and my tanks are fine. Polypropylene has very high chemical resistance.
Thanks so much. I better wait for that to arrive to try my Ms T's strawberry shortcake. I wish your list was stickied. I would have helped me alot! :D

No boge doesn't make a double, but imo a single outperforms a duel. Yes, if you put them in a tank you'll need to poke a hole in them. It's really easy. Just get a saddle valve from the local hardware store ($6-7). There's a lot of video's on how to do it. Super easy.

That no discription thing really gets on my nerves. Someone told me about the CCV thread & they give the actual specs in that thread. A lot of people have already got them & using them in the DC tanks. They are selling a 15 bundle for a really good price too. I also saw some at vapoligy. That site give's the specs.
